Chapter 165 - Chapter 160: Lucoa the Dragon Girl's Peeking and Narcissism?

As the soft sound of the door gently closing fell, Yazuki fixed his gaze on the webpage, watching the upload complete before closing his laptop and grabbing his phone, ready to head over to Yukino's house for dinner.

That girl owed him more than ten meals, after all.

That faint sound of the door closing just now—yeah, that was Ikaros coming to call him.

Just as he was about to head down the hallway to the entrance, his eyes suddenly drifted toward a rooftop several hundred meters away, visible through the floor-to-ceiling window.

He walked over to the TV stand and picked up a pair of binoculars to get a better look.

He thought he saw a glint of light reflected from that direction—like sunlight bouncing off a camera lens. Was someone spying on him?

Adjusting the binoculars and focusing on that rooftop again, he didn't spot anything unusual.

Maybe he was just being paranoid.

Ever since returning to this world, he'd been dealing with all kinds of trouble—maybe it was making him overly sensitive.

"…What's that?"

He spotted two semi-elliptical shapes swaying above a short 20 cm parapet wall on the edge of the roof. They looked suspiciously like a pair of breasts?

The thought made Yazuki smack himself on the forehead. What the hell are you thinking? That couldn't be it.

That short wall was clearly 20 cm tall. Even if someone like that old hag Hiratsuka, who was well-endowed, were lying down behind it, her chest wouldn't be that visible.

If what he just saw was a pair of boobs, then they were absurdly huge.

Unrealistically so. Only in the world of anime or doujinshi would breasts like that actually exist.

"Whatever. Time to eat."

Meanwhile, on that very rooftop…

A voluptuous body lay flat along the edge, the wavy golden hair glowing softly even in the night.

"Whew, I almost got caught~"

From Lucoa's glossy cherry-colored lips came a relieved sigh as she held a pair of binoculars in her hand.

After taking Kanna over to Tohru's place early in the morning and being warmly welcomed by Kobayashi, she was on her way home when she suddenly couldn't resist swinging by again—just to take a peek at that demon king of hers, who was now living in this world as a high school student—Yazuki.

And she had to admit, her timing was perfect.

She ended up witnessing something so unbelievable that even her perpetually half-lidded eyes opened wide: the demon king was KISSING a teacher.

Not just a kiss either—it was a full-blown, steamy French kiss.

Wha—what the hell?! Wasn't he supposed to be an otaku?

According to Megumi, he didn't seem that into real-life women. If anything, he leaned more toward younger girls, right? By this world's standards, a lolicon?

After all, she had already secretly come by last night and observed him trying to hug Kanna. That gaze he gave her—same one he used to give her back when she was still in her juvenile dragon form…

So, could it be… this reincarnated demon king now had a thing for mature, tall women too?

Mature women, huh? Lucoa softly touched her lips and then glanced down at her overly mature and tall body.

"Then… this body of mine—is it his type now?"

As she murmured those words, a gentle smile played on her lips, a small wave of joy blooming inside.

But right after that came a wave of concern. She couldn't just approach him openly.

Hmm… come to think of it, if she suppressed her presence, he'd probably just think she was a regular human, right? He wouldn't recognize her.

Most of his memories of her were from her younger dragon days anyway.

That means… maybe she could "accidentally" bump into him in the streets as a passerby and get a closer look…

"But… what if demon king-kun falls head over heels for me?"

Even though Lucoa often seemed spacey, she was fully aware of the damage potential her impressive figure had on human males.

She actually wanted to shrink her chest a little—but this was already the most she could reduce it.

Lucoa was now caught in a dilemma.

Just as Yazuki had taken off his shoes and stepped into the hallway, the doorbell rang.

So he turned around and headed to the entrance.

Unlocking and opening the door, his eyes landed on a woman who looked to be around twenty years old, with shoulder-length black hair and black eyes.

From a human's perspective, she was no less beautiful than Yukino—and even had the voluptuousness that Yukino lacked.

She wore a white-based outfit adorned with light, fluttery lace that gave off a soft, elegant impression.

"Yo—ho?"

She had been about to greet him with a cheerful smile but turned a little awkward upon realizing he wasn't the person she expected.

"Sorry, I think I got the wrong place~"

Her apology was graceful and dignified, radiating the kind of elegance one only finds in girls raised in particularly refined households.

"Oh~"

Since she said it was a mistake, Yazuki didn't ask further and simply closed the door.

He returned to the living room just as Yukino finished placing a pot of soup on the table.

Wait a minute…

Seeing Yukino's face, he suddenly realized—she looked a lot like the woman from just now. Could that have been a relative of hers? A mistaken identity?

"What's up?" Yukino tilted her head in confusion.

Her reaction surprised Yazuki a little. He thought she'd glare at him with those sharp eyes for sizing her up just now, but she remained quite calm.

"Uh, just now there was a woman at the door who looked a lot like you, around twenty years old. Could it be—"

Before he could finish, the doorbell rang again. He shrugged and gestured for Yukino to check it this time.

She went to the door, didn't open it right away, and instead peered through the peephole.

After a moment, she simply turned around and walked back.

"Probably someone from another floor who got the wrong unit."

Her cold, indifferent tone gave Yazuki pause.

That definitely wasn't the truth. If it really was a mistake, Yukino would have at least opened the door and explained.

Which meant… there was only one possibility. She knew the woman outside—and apparently didn't like her very much. There was some hostility there.

Just then, Yukino's phone rang. Her brows furrowed deeply as she reluctantly picked up the call.

"I'm out right now. About—"

She was interrupted before she could finish. Her face grew colder and colder, clearly troubled.

"When my sister comes in later, just ignore her. Pretend she doesn't exist."

Leaving behind that detached comment, Yukino walked toward the entrance with an even colder aura than when he first met her.

So… their sisterly relationship is pretty bad, huh?

Not that he had anything to hide.

It's not like there was anything going on between him and Yukino. He had Ikaros here too—compared to her, Ikaros was way cuter. No one would misunderstand their relationship.

"Right, Ikaros?"

"Hmm?" Ikaros tilted her head adorably as she set the bowls and utensils on the table, casting him a puzzled look.

"Ah, nothing~"

Ikaros looked really cute in her kitchen outfit too.

Still, he had a feeling—Yukino's sister was going to be an incredibly annoying person. Guess he'd just follow Yukino's advice and ignore her.
