The Blue Mansion The Blue Mansion was a lavish estate owned by the Carter family for over fifty years, ever since they struck a deal with the capital. Though rarely used and mostly a stopover, it was the best place Etien could stay while in the city, far enough from the palace to keep his distance, and more importantly, to keep Ophelia out of Prince Haston's reach.
The mansion, coated in white paint with a brilliant blue roof, wasn't just maintained by a squad of servants, it was also guarded by elite Winterbraun soldiers who rotated out every six months. Once they wrapped up their assignment here, they'd return to Winterbraun and fresh troops would take their place. And so the cycle continued.
"I'll escort Lady Blackmoor to her room. Do you require anything else before I leave, my Lord?" Bastian asked, eyes locked, as always, on the tips of Etien's polished shoes.
