The 17 Allied Nations of the Lyl'neyya Peninsula, known collectively as the Union of Lyl'neyya, was founded on the principles of mutual cooperation and support. Its goal : to strengthen the region's political, economic, and military standing under a shared vision of stability and prosperity for all member states.

The Union is led by the peninsula's two dominant powers—Zhervennia and Menthar—with the remaining members consisting of Cethria, Lumoria, Miragia, Zephyrland, Solticia, Quasarigar, Mistara, Sylvaria, Venturia, Emberland, Qualux, Ecliptica, Aquaflux, Terravista, and Nexzuria.

For centuries, the member nations have maintained close and peaceful relations under the Union's unified framework.

Episode 7

Cockpit Perspective

The captain and co-pilot were busy preparing every system for takeoff.

I took a seat on the auxiliary chair, having confirmed that everything was ready for departure.

The captain reached for the radio and began speaking to the control tower.

"Ground Control, this is Zhervent 14 requesting taxi clearance to Runway 22."

"Zhervent 14, Ground. Taxi approved via Taxiways Alpha and Delta. Hold short at Runway 22."

"Taxiing to Runway 22 via Alpha and Delta. Holding short at 22 . Zhervent 14."

The aircraft began moving slowly out of the hangar, the hum of its four engines low and steady as it rolled forward.

Insiren stepped back, slowly extending both arms outward before raising one hand forward.

At the center of the airfield, a dome—no larger than a soccer ball—suddenly appeared. Within seconds, it expanded rapidly, growing until it encompassed the entire airport.

Rain, storm winds, floodwater, and even the thick storm clouds above were all pushed back—cleared completely from the area.

The skies above the runway fell silent.

Not a single drop of rain made it through.

The violent cyclone raged just beyond the barrier, but not even a breeze managed to breach its edge.

The captain's eyes widened in disbelief at the scene unfolding before him.

But he quickly pulled himself together—

unlike the co-pilot, who remained frozen, mouth agape in stunned silence.

When the captain noticed the lack of response beside him, he raised his voice and called out the co-pilot's name.Startled, the younger pilot snapped back to reality and turned his attention to the monitors.

"Ground Control, Zhervent 14 holding short at Runway 22. Ready for departure."

"Zhervent 14, Ground. Cleared to enter the runway and hold in position."

"Entering and holding at Runway 22. Zhervent 14."

The aircraft rolled into position at the threshold of Runway 22, engines humming at full readiness.

"Tower, this is Zhervent 14. Holding on Runway 22, ready for takeoff."

"Zhervent 14, cleared for takeoff."

"Inside the dome, Calm winds on Runway 22.

Visibility 6 kilometers. Cloud base at 6,000 feet. Temperature 6 degrees Celsius. Dew point 2 degrees. Pressure 1013 hPa."

"Outside the dome, Winds 095 degrees at 115 knots, gusting to 190 knots. Visibility low. Heavy rain. Cloud base 1,400 feet. Temperature 5 degrees. Dew point 2 degrees. Pressure 1010 hPa. Severe wind shear conditions. Good luck."

"Cleared for takeoff, Runway Two-Two. Servent One-Four. Thank you."

The captain pushed the throttles forward.

The engines roared with thunderous force as the aircraft surged down the runway.Speed climbed rapidly—

and in moments, the plane lifted gracefully into the air.

Captain : "Seventeen seconds until we exit Commander Eraria's dome. With weather like this outside, flying would normally be a death sentence. But then again, that's exactly why he's standing behind us."

Co-Pilot: "This is the first time in my life I've seen arcane power on this scale...So this is the strength of the Supreme Commander—even without drawing his arcane weapon. It's incredible."

"But even with the storm winds and rain held back, we've still got zero visibility.Feels like flying blind—gotta rely on the instruments for everything."

Manipulating the airflow of a massive storm is an incredibly dangerous act.

Creating a large-scale atmospheric dome without a precise understanding of wind currents can cause disastrous consequences. If constructed carelessly, the incoming winds will strike the dome and deflect outward—sending powerful gusts into nearby areas and potentially wreaking havoc on buildings, infrastructure, and even altering wind patterns far beyond the immediate zone.

In Zhervennia, prevailing wind directions shift with the seasons, and its buildings are deliberately designed to channel and absorb winds from specific directions.Disrupting those natural flows could destabilize the very city the dome is meant to protect.

As the aircraft exited the dome, Insiren immediately shifted his arcane flow. His wind redirected the storm currents—pushing them away from the fuselage and stabilizing the aircraft's passage.

And as the plane gained distance, the dome began to deconstruct itself—collapsing in an orderly fashion before vanishing entirely.

Insiren's Perspective

It took over an hour and a half just to fly clear of the storm's outer edge.We were now cruising at an altitude between 37,000 and 40,000 feet.Once we cleared the cyclone zone, my role was done—so I left the cockpit and went to find a quiet spot to rest.

We still had two or three days of travel ahead of us.And once we arrived, I'd likely be running around nonstop, jumping from one site to another without a chance to breathe.

That's why I needed to rest now—

to recover, recharge, and prepare myself physically.

In the meantime, I stayed in contact with Qualux.

So far, there had been no reports of suspicious activity or movement from Kaya.

The storm over Zhervennia had begun to weaken slightly, but northern territories were still being hammered by the winds.

At Qualux, the rain had just started an hour ago.
