"What do you think of this body?" Sabo asked with a smirk. "It was done from a stone by the duck!"
Sabo didn't hold back and directly explained what had happened to him.
After listening to Sabo's story, Ikki stood there, stunned.
He had assumed that another time-traveler might be in the One Piece world, possibly someone within the Revolutionary Army using some kind of system or cheat. How else could Sabo transform into a powerful Pokémon-like being such as Mewtwo—and not just any Mewtwo, but a dragon-type one?
But to his surprise, it wasn't another time-traveler at all. It was all thanks to Psyduck.
"If I remember correctly," Ikki thought aloud, "to transform someone into a specific animal, you'd have to have seen that animal before…"
He shook his head in disbelief. "So it seems that the Psyduck I summoned wasn't some clueless bird after all. That 'blank stare, holding its head' act completely fooled me!"
After learning the truth about Sabo's transformation, Ikki couldn't help but ask, "Is your amnesia cured yet?"
Sabo blinked in surprise. "How do you know I have amnesia?"
Before Ikki could respond, Sabo sighed and added, "No, not yet." His tone was resigned, though he quickly regained his composure.
"Wait a second," Sabo said, narrowing his eyes. "How do you know about my amnesia?"
Ikki grinned mischievously. "Let's just say I'm an expert at treating amnesia. Don't worry—once the Alabasta incident is over, I'll help you cure it!"
Of course, Ikki's words were pure deception. He already knew how to fix Sabo's amnesia. All it would take was for Sabo's spirit to experience a powerful emotional shock—something like the death of Ace or Luffy. However, such drastic measures were far from ideal, even if easily achievable through abilities like fake death.
As the two chatted, Koza approached from the distance.
The moment Koza saw Cobra, he froze in place. A second later, he dropped to his knees before the king without saying a word.
There was no other way to express his guilt. Cobra was not only the ruler of Alabasta but also a man Koza had respected since childhood. If it weren't for Vivi revealing the truth, Koza would have unwittingly played a role in making Alabasta fall into the hands of a pirate like Crocodile. The mere thought of such a failure weighed heavily on him.
Cobra, knowing the young man's heart, stepped forward and helped Koza to his feet.
"It's all over now," Cobra said with a warm smile. "From this point forward… Alabasta will be in the hands of you young people."
Seeing Koza still visibly burdened, Vivi jumped in to lighten the mood.
"Koza," she asked, her tone curious, "what's happening in Rainbase right now? Why haven't the rebels attacked yet?"
The question brought Koza back to the matter at hand.
"Vivi…" he began, his expression turning serious. "You said your friends here are strong, didn't you?"
Vivi glanced at her companions—Ikki, Sanji, Nami, and Conan. Without hesitation, she nodded firmly. "Yes! My partners are all incredibly strong!"
Koza sighed with relief. "That's good to hear. There are two monsters wreaking havoc in Rainbase, along with a few pirates causing widespread damage. I'd like to ask for your friends' help in dealing with them!"
Just as Koza finished speaking, Sabo's voice echoed in his mind.
"Are the two monsters you're talking about an orange-winged dragon with flames on its tail and an creature with four arms?"
Although surprised by the voice in his mind, Koza instinctively replied, "Yes… just as you described!"
Following the sensation, Koza looked around and realized that the one communicating with his soul was none other than the inhuman creature before him—Mewtwo Sabo.
Sabo's tone remained calm. "Don't worry. Those aren't monsters. The winged dragon and the four-armed creature are Ace and Luffy. The pirates you mentioned must be Marine Smoker and Luffy's crew."
At the same time, in Rainbase...
"How many more of these Baroque Works agents are there?" Chopper asked, his voice exasperated as he fought in his humanoid form.
Logically, they could have withdrawn after finding evidence of Crocodile's crimes. But who could have predicted that after Ace and Luffy defeated over a hundred "Millions," hundreds more agents—Millions and even Billions—would arrive to replace them?
Although these agents were minions and not much of a threat individually, their sheer numbers made them a nuisance. Worse, their chaotic attacks endangered civilians, forcing the Straw Hats to handle the situation carefully.
It was then that Luffy, in his typical carefree manner, had a bold idea:
He and Ace would pretend to be "villainous monsters," rampaging through the city to scare away the remaining civilians. This way, anyone left behind would almost certainly be a Baroque Works agent.
Surprisingly, Luffy's plan worked.
Once the two entered "destruction mode," terrified civilians fled in all directions, leaving behind mostly Baroque Works agents with their identifying tattoos. Of course, some clever individuals used the chaos to escape with the crowd, but they were the minority.
For Baroque Works members, the boss's orders were absolute. Failure often meant elimination, especially for the lower-ranking Millions and Billions. This drove many to stay behind and fight, even against overwhelming odds.
Once the civilians had mostly evacuated, Zoro, Usopp, Chopper, and even the recently bandaged Smoker began systematically dealing with the remaining agents.
After finishing off another group of Million Elders, Chopper sighed. "This is so exhausting! I didn't expect there to be so many Baroque Works agents!"
Nearby, Usopp, who had switched from his spiritual bow to his trusty slingshot due to fatigue, grinned. "Chopper, you've still got a lot to learn. The great warrior Usopp has faced armies of over 100,000 before!"
Chopper's eyes sparkled with admiration. "One hundred thousand?! That's incredible, Usopp! I can't even imagine what that would be like!"
Zoro, overhearing the conversation, smirked and walked over. "Don't let him fool you, Chopper. At most, we've fought a few dozen or a couple hundred enemies at once. He's just exaggerating again."
"Eh?!" Chopper exclaimed, looking at Usopp with wide eyes. "So… Usopp was lying to me?"
Smoker, standing nearby as he unleashed another cloud of smoke, couldn't help but roll his eyes at the exchange. He had always assumed Luffy was the sole cause of the Straw Hats' apparent lack of common sense, but now he realized the problem might run deeper.
Usopp, undeterred by Zoro's remark, crossed his arms and puffed out his chest. "Hey! Ikki said I have the power to turn lies into truth! Maybe someday we'll really fight 100,000 enemies at once!"
Zoro scoffed. "Do you even know what kind of scale 100,000 people would be? Even the Marine headquarters would struggle to mobilize that many elite soldiers on short notice."
Smoker decided to weigh in, his tone dismissive. "For a battle involving 100,000 fighters, it would take nothing less than a clash between Marine Headquarters and one of the Four Emperors. Don't spout nonsense."
Usopp, undaunted, waved him off. "You'll see! The day will come when the great Usopp proves you all wrong!"
Smoker sighed heavily, muttering under his breath. "This crew… I swear, they're all insane."
