She walked back to her table and retrieved his copy of the marriage certificate. With perfect aim, she tossed it through the air and it slapped him on the cheek. As soon as he held it in his hands, she snapped another picture quickly to confirm that he had received it.
"Congratulations, Leech Mo, you can find yourself another wealthy woman to suck the blood out of. This one has officially and lawfully called it quits."
Mo Liang scoffed and ripped the certificate in two. "Dream on, I am your husband. This divorce does not count because I never signed any papers and my lawyers appealed to end the process before the cooling off period ended." He laughed at her like she was a joke. "In fact, those thirty days are not over so all you have done is in vain."
Mei Mei shrugged. "Then appeal and see if you will get your way. But I am afraid that starting from today, you will be fighting another legal battle and you won't have time to contest the divorce."
