Chapter 112 - Rowan Is Actually The Sun God?

Odin was merely a user of this power. More precisely, this ancestral power was rooted deeply in their bloodline. Only the royal family could continuously tap into it, strengthening it over time until it culminated in beings like Odin and Hela—true Level God Fathers and masters.

Naturally, the common Asgardians lacked such overwhelming strength. They could only rely on their bloodline to gain about twice the physical capabilities of ordinary humans on Earth.

Though their origins were essentially the same, the bloodlines had long since diverged significantly.

Thus, their magic developed almost entirely from their own divine power. Without it, their spells were useless.

On the other hand, learning magic from other systems imposed a low ceiling, far inferior to fully harnessing one's own bloodline. That's why Asgardians rarely bothered studying other races' magics—it was essentially pointless.

The library was supposedly open to the common folk, but few actually visited.

The one who truly understood other magics was likely Queen Frigg, who had been raised by a witch and was versed in witchcraft. But as for Loki, what she taught him was insufficient.

Loki's lower combat ceiling compared to Thor's was largely because he originated from the Frost Titan family but learned Asgardian magic, which did not align with his own blood.

If he had been able to master the ancestral magic of the Frost Titan family, his power ceiling would have been significantly higher.

Sadly, he never had the chance.

Rowan examined the magic of various other systems, most resembling Asgardian magic—such as that of the Fire Titan family or Frost Titan family—largely drawing strength from their own bloodlines, allowing for continuous growth.

The common thread was clear: the ceiling depended on bloodline purity and concentration. Rowan, lacking such blood, could only study them on a superficial level.

Ultimately, Rowan concluded that Kamar-Taj's magic was the most refined—not only because it came from the knowledge system of the God of White Magic, Weishandi, but because it was a knowledge-based magic.

The deeper and richer your understanding, the stronger your power.

This was perfect for Rowan.

Some Kamar-Taj magic books in Asgard's collection were purely theoretical, offering a magical perspective on understanding the multiverse.

For a traveler like Rowan, this was quite rewarding.

He poured over these books joyfully in the library.

At that moment, Thor approached the bedroom of his father, God King Odin. Odin was comforting Queen Frigg, who was still grieving the loss of her second son.

"Thor, you've come just in time!" God King Odin greeted.

"Father, Mother," Thor said, stepping before them, especially his mother, Queen Frigg.

She wiped tears from her cheeks, not wanting her son to see her in sorrow.

Though her eldest son had been found, losing her younger son was a pain she carried deeply.

"Thor, do you know your friend?" Odin asked.

"Yes, I do," Thor replied.

"I sense sun-like energy radiating from him. Using divine power perception, it's like a sun—emitting powerful energy continuously.

Even if it weren't for the identity you mentioned, I would suspect he might be the sun god of some pantheon," said God King Odin.

Even Rowan quietly tested Odin's presence. How could Odin not sense something extraordinary?

He felt an immense solar power.

It was enough to make him think Rowan was the sun god of some deity system.

"That's exactly what I wanted to say!" Thor responded. "Although he was originally a mortal, I suspect he has gained the power of the sun god from some pantheon. Father, your intuition matches mine."

Thor and Tony Stark saw things completely differently here.

Tony Stark, watching Rowan bask in the sun and grow stronger, might suspect some kind of mutation or adventure had occurred.

But Thor, born in a Divine Grade civilization, thought immediately that Rowan must have obtained godhood from some deity.

Although Thor didn't know which god, the evidence was obvious: sun god status, or at least authority connected to the sun, flame, or light.

He simply didn't know the origin or which pantheon the godhood belonged to.

Compared to Tony Stark and Nick Fury's guesses, Thor's insight felt much closer to the truth.

"So what's going on? You suddenly brought back this man, who is such a powerful individual. The divine power in your body can't compare to his!" God King Odin said.

Odin felt it necessary to investigate Rowan's background thoroughly.

"That's why I came to find you," Thor explained. "He may not be from our world, but from another universe."

"A multiverse?" Odin narrowed his eyes. With his position, he naturally knew of the multiverse, if only vaguely.

For example, many Dimensional Lords exist in other dimensions and have often attacked Asgard, with Odin repelling many of them.

Their enmity with these dimensions' Dimensional Lords was a reason why he and the Ancient One chose to ally.

There was no sense in letting them pick off the people of the main universe.

"Yes, more precisely, it's a universe beyond the fourth wall!" Thor said.

Thor struggled to explain this concept, then handed over a diary to Odin and Frigg.

"After reading this, you might understand what I mean."

Odin and Frigg examined the diary with some skepticism at first. But the more they read, the more their expressions changed.
