Blaze dives into Zach's memories. His memories are very similar to Adam's for the latter half, most are about dirty cops' business, but with an emphasis on the cult of True Sun.
Compared to Adam, Zach is a much more religious follower. But in the end, their god decided to respond to Adam instead of Zach. An ironic answer to life. The good and devoted one may never be the one who gains the most out of life.
This trait of Zach comes from the fact that he was an orphan. He was raised in a church of Ranas. One of the popular religions happens to be the same orphanage that Hugo and Anton were raised in.
But his original religion did not give Zach the definite answer he wanted in life. It described the world in a vague, karmic sense, which was not what a struggling orphan was attracted to. He disagreed with it but was still dedicated to it.
