After ransacking all the food and water from the store, Francis and Susan sneaked out with smug expressions on their faces.
They carefully hid the food and water in another store, then each carried a small bag of supplies and climbed up the elevator shaft.
Unbeknownst to them, several pairs of cold eyes watched their furtive movements from the dark corners.

"So you're saying... Sophia and the others found a warehouse on basement level 1?"
Blake casually picked up the backpack Susan handed over, took a sip of water from a bottle, and flashed a greedy, triumphant smile.
"Y... yes! They actually thought we were there to join them. They even told us the route! From what they said, there seems to be a lot of food and water down there! Enough to last all of us for months! As soon as they went down, we came straight to report to you."
Francis bowed obsequiously as he delivered the news.
