Han walked up to me and said, "Yeah, we need to go." I glanced at Eric just as Anne stepped forward and wrapped me in a hug. I returned the gesture with a quick fist bump to Eric before Han and I headed outside.
As we walked, I looked at him and asked, "I don't know if I'll be living with you now. Is there anywhere you want to stay? Anyone you want to stay with?"
Han smirked, "I have multiple options, too. But don't worry—since you're dying to stay with me, who am I to resist?" He tapped my head playfully.
"Ow! That hurts."
"Same way you hurt me."
"Oh, sorry. I think we're way past that."
"Way past that. Don't worry. Just wait till I punish you overnight."
My face flushed red instantly, and I had no idea what that meant. I really didn't. But no, that couldn't possibly mean what I thought.
We drove back home, stopping right in front of the house. Then we continued on to Han's penthouse.
