Malachi picked up his pen and continued with his work the moment he sensed her in the same room with him. She presented herself before him with her heart beating loudly in her chest like a drum.
He did look busy and not interested in hearing whatever she came here to say or moved enough to look at her.
Was what she did that terrible?
Wish stood in the middle of the room and before his desk, not knowing what to do or say. He did an excellent job pretending like she wasn't standing before him, and each moment being in the same room just only got intense. Too intense for her to stand any longer.
"I… I will just come back and see you when you are not…"
She swallowed the rest of her words and turned in the direction of the door.

Wish jumped and turned to see one of the documents on the floor. She turned to see him the least bothered by it.
