--- Chapter 137 ---

"So, we will hold the Academy Meeting in two months?" Ning Fengyuan said after discussing the invitation matter with Han Yuan, "Don't you think it was a bit short?"

Han Yuan smiled, "And we won't hold the event at the academy, but the Dawnbreak Mountain. Two months is enough to prepare the area and build necessary buildings."

"Dawnbreak Mountain..." Ning Fengyuan nodded slowly.

There are several mountains in the Desolate Mountain Range, and since Han Yuan owned the area, using them is a hassle. So, besides the main academy area and some mimetic training grounds, these mountains are just left growing with blue silver grass and unused. Dawnbreak Mountain is one of them, though it is famous for its sunrise scenery.

Dawnbreak Mountain is 'conveniently' located just a few miles from the academy's main building, making it a strategic and functional choice for future meetings.

"Then, I will dispatch some students to clean the area," Han Yuan said casually, as he could use this to train his students. 'Deforesting without damaging the area will train their patience, right?'

"Three days should be enough to clean the area."

Ning Fengyuan was amused because she could imagine the student's complaint. 'Well, Xiao Yuan's exploitation, cough, I mean unique training will definitely be effective.'

"Understood. I will hire the architects, builders, and workers, and they should be there in the next few days." She said with a chuckle.

Han Yuan looked around the office and suddenly asked, "How is your cultivation?"

Ning Fengyuan raised her brow slightly, "Well, it's improving. I could feel that I was close to level 88. I should reach the Half-Step Title Douluo Realm in a few months."

"What can I do? I have no god's legacy like Xuelan."

"Cultivating this fast is already considered fast, thanks to your supply of immortal pills. Even then, I couldn't consume too much of them, or I'd get dependent on them."

"Hmm, you're right." Han Yuan agreed with Ning Fengyuan's vision of her cultivation. "You formed your Spirit Core (spiritual) two years ago, and I think you can form another one."

"Spirit Core, huh?" Ning Fengyuan mumbled in a deep thought.

Three years ago, Ning Fengyuan joined the Dao Academy and learned all the concepts and theories that Han Yuan made, including the Spirit Core creation theory. Well, it wasn't much of a theory anymore because it was proven to be effective. Even then, Ning Fengyuan, an elder of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, was still shocked.

After all, while Spirit Core couldn't magically enhance spirit master's raw potential, it could enhance their ability, forming a foundation for their higher cultivation.

Unfortunately, forming Spirit Core is very difficult. If not for the immortal pill made by Han Yuan, Ning Fengyuan wouldn't have enough spiritual power to make the spiritual core.

"What Spirit Core should I form this time?" asked Ning Fengyuan. "I might have trained my body, but I don't think my blood qi is enough to form into Blood Core."

"The best thing is probably Spirit Core (spirit energy), no?"

Han Yuan smiled, "You're right. Spirit Core is indeed the best choice for your second core."

"But why don't we take a step further and add your unique attribute to this core."

"Why don't you add your martial soul's reflective attributes into the second core, further enhancing your ability to reflect everything."

"At the end of the day, the more spirit energy you have, the more attacks you can reflect."

Ning Fengyuan's martial soul is really special. Mutated from the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, it lost the ability to support others but gained copy and reflect ability instead.

After evolving her martial soul and becoming Soul Douluo, Ning Fengyuan grew more powerful and could fight a Titled Douluo Liu Erlong. Of course, fighting and winning are two different concepts, though they still show how formidable Ning Fengyuan was.

"Okay, let's do it!" Ning Fengyuan became spirited. "I don't want to be left behind by Erlong and Xuelan!"

Although Ning Fengyuan doesn't want to admit it, she is the weakest among the Three Old Cows.

Don't look down on Ye Xualan because she was a healer. Her physical prowess and skills are monstrous under the guidance of the Goddess of Life, which allows her to be reckless with her fighting style.

How could Ning Fengyuan accept that?!

In love and war, everyone has a chance to win!

"Calm down. Cultivation is a slow process, and you should start refining your spirit energy." Han Yuan chuckled. "Prepare for the meeting first. A month later, I can assist you in making the second Spirit Core."

"Ah, well, I will listen to you." Ning Fengyuan realized she was being hasty and slowly leaned on Han Yuan's shoulder, inhaling his addicting scents.

...

...

A week later, Ning Fengyuan sent an invitation letter for a "Dao Meeting" to every faction on the Douluo Continent. It caused a wave in the spirit master's community because the Dao Academy was famous for its rich knowledge.

A little reveal of theories is enough to open people's perspective of spirit masters, martial souls, and origins. Yet, Dao Academy finally opened up to the public, though some doubted this move. They felt the infamous academy had planned something.

At the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Ning Fengzhi rubbed his eyebrow and sighed, "Xiao Yuan is really impatient. Even with Dugu Bo and Liu Erlong..."

"Wait, this might be the move of that person."

"But why is he doing this?"

Ning Fengzhi knew that Dao Academy's influence in the spirit master world had grown tremendously over the past three years.

It was due to the theory developed by Han Yuan, which had proven to be beneficial for all spirit masters, especially those from commoners. Many commoner spirit masters have emerged recently, some choosing to join the Dao Academy while others opted to form their own factions.

Fortunately, no one but Ning Fengzhi and his student Xue Qinghe knew the master theorist in the Dao Academy was a ten-year-old boy, or Han Yuan would be in danger.

Unknown to Ning Fengzhi, his good student had already spread Han Yuan's information to the Spirit Hall.

"Oh, interesting. A Dao Meeting, was it?" A voice appeared in the office and snapped Ning Fengzhi from his thoughts.

Ning Fengzhi turned around and sighed, "You shouldn't appear suddenly like that, Uncle Sword. You scared me."

Sword Douluo, Chen Xin, smiled faintly, "Then, you must train more, Fengzhi."

"With the evolved Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, you can become a Title Douluo, too."

"Title Douluo..." Ning Fengzhi was helpless. While his martial soul evolved, he soon realized being a Title Douluo wasn't easy. He's currently at level 83 Soul Douluo, and reaching the next level is unbearably slow.

"Whatever, I will take things slowly. Sword Uncle, why don't you come with me to attend the Dao Meeting?"

"Hmm, why don't you bring Old Bone with you? He can protect you better than me." Chen Xin was confused.

Ning Fengzhi smiled, "That's because I wanted to meet Xiao Yuan. That boy is extraordinary and might become our son-in-law soon."

"That boy? He's barely worthy for Rongrong!" Chen Xin snorted unhappily because Han Yuan made it hard for him to meet Ning Rongrong.

"..." Ning Fengzhi's mouth twitched.

You really hold a grudge, huh?

Then, again, Rongrong went to the Dao Academy for three years and only returned on holidays. For doting grandfathers like Chen Xin and Gu Rong, not seeing their baby granddaughter is a pain.

However, Ning Fengzhi allowed it because Dao Academy was a good place for her daughter to learn and grow into a prominent figure.

Not to mention, Ning Fengzhi wanted Ning Rongrong and Han Yuan to be a couple, so fostering their relationship from a young age is a must.

Chen Xin crossed his arms, "Fine, I will come with you this time. Let me see just how extraordinary this boy is."

"Well, good." Ning Fengzhi nodded in amusement.

...

Meanwhile, in the Heaven Dou Palace. Qian Renxue took off her disguise and lay on the soft bed.

She stared at the invitation letter to the Dao Meeting in her hand, and her lips curled into a smile, "Han Yuan, I wonder what kind of surprise you had for me this time."

"I am curious..."
