Kinto had just woken up from bed. By the time he stood up from his bed, he stretched a little before going into the shower. Kinto entered the shower while playing some music, rubbing his head and the rest of his body with soap and water. He came out of the shower and started to brush his teeth with his hair soaking wet. Kinto took a look at his hair for a second with the help of his mirror and continued to brush his teeth. As Kinto came out of the shower, music still playing, he did a few stretches again, started to air box and then changed into some fresh cloths. Kinto took a sigh as he just looked around his room and then went to the living room. Kinto had a look of annoyance and confusion on his face "Something's off.", he thought to himself. He went to his balcony with a mug of hot tea, he looked at how the city around him was vibrant and enjoyable. The sun was shining calmly, people were just going about their normal lives, he still had a look of annoyance and confusion on his face "Something's off. Really off." He went to the living room and turned on his television, the first thing that played was some anime. Kinto while sipping a drink was enjoying the anime he was watching with a very bored look on his face, he thought to himself as his head was placed on his palm "For a while now, something's felt off. I just had a life or death battle against a half human and half dragon bastard. Had holes blown all over my body, was dropping bombs and creating explosion all over the place like fucking rain. And on top of that, I lost my mind and was going all crazy. So crazy that I had that arrogant dragon dick-head shiting his pants out." Kinto paused for a moment, then all of a sudden, it clicked ".... HOW MUCH TIME HAD PASSED SINCE THEN!?!". He rushed to his room where he had left his phone, he picked up his phone and realised it.... "THREE MONTHS HAD PAST!!!", he exclaimed with shock. Kinto stared at the calendar with confusion and shock "This doesn't make any sense! We had just entered March a few weeks ago! How the fuck did we suddenly switch too June?! Does it have to do with what happened?" Kinto started to remember how reality seemed to be cracking and how he saw himself die in over billions of way for one second. Kinto placed his hand on his head while he was shocked "I felt like I had died a billion times for a second. I remember. It was like as if it everything had shut down for a second. What does this mean?" Kinto had paused for a moment, he was racking his brain, Kinto suddenly took a deep sigh "Ehn, what does it matter? I should be happy that I'm alive. Since when did I give a fuck about all this.", Kinto turned back to his living room "I'm a soldier. My only goal is to protect what's mine not because I want to, but because no matter how lazy I am, I NEED to do it! That's my path.". Kinto just dropped on his couch "Well all this brain racking doesn't matter at all. I fought beside my friends, I survived and now I'm back at the comfort of my home. I shouldn't really be complaining at all." Kinto picked up his phone and started scrolling through it like nothing had happened. Meanwhile, at 9:12AM, Raquel was getting dressed up, while putting on her skirt and socks, she turned to Alex "I'll be heading out now. Okay? Don't get into any crazy shit while I'm gone.", Alex who was just playing games on his phone replied her with a wave "Yeah, yeah. I hear you. Have a nice day at the grocery store.", Raquel walked towards him and pecked him on the cheek "See ya.", she waved as she left the house. After Raquel had left, Alex looked at the ceiling of his house "I'm surprised this apartment is still intact. Upon all the battles this city and world had faced, this place is still standing.", he turned back to him video game "Whatever. I'm just grateful non of my light novels and manga's are destroyed, otherwise I'd crash out." While Alex kept playing his games, he saw a message on his inbox in the game "A message?", he clicked on it and found out it was Kinto who had texted him "Yo, my white haired idiot.". Alex typed In response "First of all, I am not your white haired idiot. Second of all, what's up?" Kinto replied "Nothing much buddy, I just woke up and decided to play some games. After I hoped on, I saw you were online and decided to say hi.". Alex texted back "Cool. You got plans for today?", Kinto replied "Are you kidding? No way. You're telling me we had a battle to the death with entire dragons that nearly skinned us alive and you want me to have plans after I mysteriously woke up on my bed? Fuck no.". Alex sent three laughing emoji's and texted "Who cares. We deserve a rest, especially you guys. You went out of your way to help me, so I'm more than happy you are getting your rest.", Kinto texted back after a few moments of pause "You better. Either way, how's Raquel doing?", Alex texted "She's good. It's almost like as if she had forgotten about the whole situation.", Kinto texted back "Well I'm glad. She's our ally. I'm glad we saved her at the end of the day. Either way, I'm coming over to your place to have some quiet fun. Maybe we'll come go over to the river we always sat down as kids." Alex paused for a moment and looked at the ceiling, he thought to himself "Yeah, that's right. There was a specific place Kinto and I always went to as kids back then. We'd joke around, talk about our ambitions and even make pervy jokes while eating together". Kinto texted to Alex "You still there?", Alex texted back "The hangout sounds good. Although, I want to talk too all the guys. You, Son, Mori, Baraka, Deo and Kazuki.". Kinto replied "Sounds good. Let's do it by 10:10AM." Alex smiled and scoffed softly "That time seems just about right.".
Alex looked up to the empty ceiling with just a rolling fan "I'm so glad I have a friend like Kinto. I'm really really glad I met you. My best psychotic suicide bomber friend."
