On the same day 11:03 in the morning, the girls were in a restaurant. They sat beside the glass window with glass of drinks on their table. While they sat together, Sukuna exclaimed silently "Ahhh, it's been long since since I had a drink to relax like this," Serena looked at her "It's only been months since we hungover like this.". Runo while sipping her drink added "Just let her be. And plus, not being able to have a drink with your friends in months is actually surprising.", Sukuna added "I know, right?", Serena had a funny look of confusion on her face "You're spoiling her, you know?". Luck walked in and spotted them "Oh? There you are.", Serena turned to her "Huh? Hey Luck. How are you?", Sukuna tilted her head "Where have you been?", she asked, Luck replied "I've just been busy, that's all.". The group of girls sat together and were quiet, Serena broke the silence "So? Is anyone else going to say anything about their previous battle?", Sukuna and Runo paused for a moment. Luck paused as well, her drink reflecting her soft smile. Runo took a deep sigh "We came out together to get drinks, and you want to talk about our dragon clean up battle?", Sukuna asked "What do you mean *Dragon Clean Up battle*? You're talking like fighting those oversized lizard was easy.". Runo tilted her head away "Hm, since you're the one who broke the silence, you should be the one to talk first, Serena.". Serena had a nervous smile "Well, you see, I didn't fight on my own. Sukuna fought along side me.", Sukuna added with a tired tone, her legs were crossed "Yeah, yeah. Although it's not something I feel like talking about tho.". Serena explained how the battle went "At first, we were struggling to keep up with Valkary. Just herself at Base was giving Sukuna and I a problem. She was incredibly strong on her own. She had powerful sword skills, insane speed and reaction, her energy output was insane as well.", Sukuna was slowly swinging her leg while listening to Serena talk, until she added "Well what do you expect from a dragon lady who had thousands of years of experience? But its funny. We used to be kids going on missions. Before we knew it, we were fighting world ending threats.". Serena added with a small smirk "Yeah, you're right Sukuna, its actually funny. It wasn't until later that we up our game and matched Valkary's power.". Runo then asked "Wait, if you both could match her power from the start, why didn't you just go all out off rip?", Serena and Sukuna had nervous smiles on their faces and tilted their eyes to the side "Well, you see, we were following orders from Veronica.", Serena explained. Runo asked "Huh? So you were to get your ass's beat until Veronica gave you the order to go all out?", Serena explained nervously and still smiling "That's not how it goes.", Sukuna added "Nah, that's how it went.". Luck then tells them "Looks like you both had it rough. Fighting along side each other and still struggling must be hard.", Serena explained "Yeah, but this girl from the sinisters, helped us out.". Runo asked "Sinisters? Oh, you mean that group of rouge soldiers that Veronica introduced us too last three years ago?", Luck then asked "Hey, Runo? You know those guys, don't you?". Runo replied while waving her hand "Not really. Those guys are just people i was sent to retrieve stollen weapons from by Veronica. Although, we did fight. All three of them against me.", Sukuna replied "Wow, must have been hard for you.", Runo being slightly annoyed asked "What do you think it was supposed to be?". Runo took a sigh "Okay, it's my turn to explain now. Just like you both did, I also fought a dragon lady. I forgot her name tho, all i could remember was that she had big boobs.". Sukuna had a wierd smile on her face "Oh? So you completely forgot your opponents name but remembered they had big boobs? That's bold.", Runo replied "Shut up and let me talk.". Runo explained "She wasn't all that tough. Although, if I didn't play smart, I would have definitely died. She was pretty decent in speed and destructive power, so I matched her with smarts. Battle Iq wasn't something she was too good at. I took advantage of that, destroyed her arm and a part of her heart, obliterated her with bombs and then shot her ass dead. The dragon bitch was so arrogant that she couldn't see her own downfall.". Serena, Sukuna and Luck all had nervous smiles on their faces "Wow, she handled her opponent well. I guess she's a proper soldier through and through.", they thought to themselves. Runo paused for a moment and asked "...Hey, guys? Do you feel anything when you're about to kill your opponent?.", Serena, Sukuna and Luck paused for a moment, they replied with slight irritation "No!", that was a very straightforward answer. Runo's expression didn't change at all "Hm, that was quick.", she thought to herself. Serena says "Why would I feel bad? I mean, if I've done nothing wrong, and I need to defend myself against someone who's definitely trying to kill me, why would i feel bad for doing the same?.". Sukuna added "I mean, it's the life we live in. We're soldiers and assassins, we're not heroes or God's. We do what's necessary, be it our intentions are good or not. That's how our world works.". Luck with her face resting on her head added "Yeah, that's right.". Runo who asked the question, just closed her eyes and sighed "I see, you all are absolutely right. I mean, that dragon bitch I killed was planning on killing me, she was straight forward with it. Not just her, your opponents were also planning on killing you too. If we didn't fight with everything we had, we would have gotten ourselves killed and mocked like animals. Not just that, those dragon bastards were the one's trying to invade our world and everything we've built, so offcourse they got what they deserved. If we had left our opponents to live, they'd come back with double the force.". Serena added "This kinda reminds me of our fight Kirihai back then in the first war we fought.", Sukuna added "Yeah, it did remind me of her. I can bet that if she was alive today, and we fought, I'm more than certain she'd still beat us.". Runo sighed to "Yeah, my battle also reminded me of the fight I had against the colourful purple angel I fought in the war against the dark sign.". Serena and Sukuna looked at her "You fought an angel? A colourful one too?!", they asked in unison. Runo replied annoyed "What's so damn amazing about that?....", she turned to the window "Anyway, let's go visit Raquel after this. We really need to see her. She's the one who suffered the most in the previous battle." Sukuna agreed "Yeah you're right.". Sukuna then asked Luck "Hey Luck, what of you? How was your battle against the dragons?", Luck waved her hand with a smile "Oh no, Kazui, Tobi and I didn't fight dragons. We were having a test against Veronica's army of shikigami in another dimension.". Serena, Sukuna and Runo paused with confusion "Huh?.....".
