Chapter 74 - Wings of Thunder

Mondstadt's alchemy hall shimmered under a vibrant noon. Its stone walls trembled faintly as the wind carried hums of machinery and the distant clamor of a city buzzing with tales.

Ye Ruo had been the spark of this restless surge. His wind-woven will savored the thrill of new stories and the echo of a dragon's redemption.

Abedo emerged as the unexpected mind in his day. The chalk son's curiosity flared against the glow of Ye Ruo's boundless craft.

Their talents, fused in freedom and tempered by wonder, pulsed with Mond's rising might. Ye Ruo's tales and Abedo's alchemy reshaped the city's skies.

The hall stood stark against the sun. Its iron tables gleamed with tools, and the sharp scent of molten ore wafted from glowing forges.

Knights' banners fluttered outside. Crimson and gold danced in the breeze, a fleeting guard amid the workshop's pulse.

Ye Ruo leaned against a pillar. His cloak swayed as wind tugged it gently.

"Airship, ready?" he asked. His voice cut through the din.

Abedo nodded beside him. His pale locks shimmered under the forge light.

"Test, soon," he replied. His tone carried quiet awe.

Granose bounced nearby. Her green eyes sparkled with uncontained glee.

"Magic, works!" she squeaked. Her hands clutched the blueprint tight.

The system pulsed in Ye Ruo's mind. Its chime rang clear and bright.

[Ding, Magic Airship completed.] Host earns Skyward Forge Key.

[Skyward Forge Key: Unlocks aerial crafting secrets.] It binds wind and steel into tools of flight, swift as a storm's embrace.

Ye Ruo's smirk flickered briefly. "Sky, ours," he murmured under his breath.

A subplot stirred beyond the walls. Mond's streets pulsed with eager voices.

"Fengshen, who?" a vendor barked. His stall overflowed with feathered trinkets.

Yula strode past the crowd. Her silver hair gleamed in the sunlight.

"Gift, his," she muttered. Resolve burned beneath her icy gaze.

Amber trailed her closely. Her brown locks bounced with every step.

"Confess, soon?" she teased. Her grin widened at Yula's flush.

A twist struck the hall suddenly. Metal groaned as the airship hummed alive.

"Launch, now!" Granose shouted. Her hands danced over glowing runes.

The craft lifted off slowly. Its hull shimmered with a faint blue sheen.

Ye Ruo's wind pulsed outward. It steadied the ship against a trembling start.

"Stable, good," Abedo noted. His chalky fingers sketched rapid notes.

A subplot brewed in the market. Wendy's lyre sang above the chatter.

"Truth, near?" he rasped. Wine sloshed in his trembling grip.

His green cape swirled lightly. Dread and glee warred in his eyes.

"Ye Ruo, spills," he murmured. A sip drowned his fleeting panic.

The airship soared higher now. Its shadow swept over Mond's spires.

"Fire, test!" Granose called. Her voice cracked with raw excitement.

A cannon flared to life. Blue flame streaked across the sky.

Ye Ruo's eyes gleamed sharply. "Power, mine," he breathed aloud.

A twist struck the wilds beyond. Abyss runes flared in the distant hills.

"Knight, here!" a mage snarled. Void pulsed in his twisted grip.

Ye Ruo's gale roared outward. Cyan slashed through the air like lightning.

The mage crumpled instantly. Dust settled over his broken form.

Abedo's gaze flicked to Ye Ruo. "Swift, always," he said with faint awe.

Granose gaped at the scene. "Wind, cuts?" she whispered in shock.

Yula's hands shaped her gift. Dough gleamed in Amber's cozy kitchen.

"Perfect, his," she vowed softly. Ice pulsed faintly in her touch.

A subplot stirred in the streets. Kaeya prowled with a lazy grin.

"Fools, creep," he chuckled. His dagger flashed in the noon light.

An Abyss mage froze solid. Its shield cracked under his icy strike.

"Caught, easy," he smirked. Shadows faded beneath his steady steps.

Rosalia shadowed the alleys. "Knights, guard," she hissed under her breath.

Her spear gleamed in silence. Darkness loomed as she moved unseen.

The airship dipped lower now. Its engines purred with steady might.

"Success, ours!" Granose cheered. Her fists pumped the air wildly.

Abedo's nod was subtle. "Craft, refined," he murmured with approval.

Ye Ruo's wind softened slightly. "Mond, rises," he said with quiet pride.

A twist struck the hall again. Keli's giggle echoed from the doorway.

"Boom, soon?" she squeaked. Her red hat bobbed with every hop.

Abedo's face twitched faintly. "Keli, no," he groaned in defeat.

Granose stifled a laugh. "Chaos, comes," she muttered under her breath.

Ye Ruo's laugh rang out. "Sparks, fly," he chuckled at the sight.

A subplot brewed in Lisa's library. Her silk rustled as she flipped a tome.

"Boy, busy?" she purred. Green eyes sparkled with lazy warmth.

"Books, call," she mused aloud. Her smile curled with fond mischief.

Ye Ruo's tales rested nearby. Two stacks gleamed on his cluttered desk.

"Liyue, done," he murmured. Qinglong's saga pulsed with draconic might.

"Inazuma, sweet," he added. Seimei's love shone in tender ink.

A twist struck the market loud. "Fengshen, him?" a child squealed in awe.

Diluc's brow furrowed deep. "No, me?" he growled at the crowd.

His red hair flared bright. Annoyance simmered in his stern glare.

"Fire, not wind," he snapped. His voice cut through the eager buzz.

Yula's resolve hardened fast. "First, me," she whispered to herself.

A subplot stirred in Jean's office. Her quill scratched with steady grace.

"Knights, grow," she sighed. Duty shone in her weary green eyes.

"Airship, strong," she murmured. Pride swelled beneath her calm facade.

The airship landed smoothly now. Its hull gleamed under the sun's gaze.

"Future, ours," Granose breathed. Her hands trembled with pure joy.

Abedo's chalk scratched fast. "Data, gold," he said with quiet focus.

Ye Ruo's wind pulsed once. "Tales, soar," he vowed to the open sky.

A twist struck the wilds again. Beasts roared as Yula trekked near.

"Gift, safe!" Amber gasped. Her bow tensed against a charging boar.

Yula's ice surged outward. Her blade spun in a frozen arc.

The beast fell in silence. Frost glittered on its lifeless hide.

"His, soon," Yula rasped. Sweat beaded on her silver brow.

Amber's cheer broke through. "Love, wins!" she shouted with a grin.

Ye Ruo's tales reached the streets. "Thunder, cute?" a vendor read aloud.

"My General, sweet," another mused. Inazuma's charm sparked their awe.

"Liyue, fierce," a third added. Qinglong's might stirred their hearts.

A subplot brewed in Diluc's bar. "Books, sell?" Charles asked with a tilt.

"Ye Ruo, draws," Diluc grunted. His gaze lingered on the bustling crowd.

"Wind, stirs," he murmured low. Respect flickered in his stern eyes.

The hall sighed with success. Alchemy pulsed as the airship rested.

Ye Ruo's legend soared higher. Teyvat's winds sang his bold refrain.
