Their footfalls echoed sharply against the tight alleyway walls as they raced forward, fast and calculated. The uneven rhythm of their steps rang like warning bells in the night, ricocheting off the cracked stone surfaces. Two academy students—Carlos and Lina—moved with haste, weaving through the jagged passageways near where the Titan had previously rampaged.
Though they tried their best to keep up, the colossal beast had vanished ahead, far faster than they had anticipated.
Neither of them expected the Titan to move with such terrifying speed.
The very ground trembled from the residual presence it left behind.
