The two tall men were holding swords.
"You idiots, there isn't enough space in this room for both of you to swing those things around."
I raised my hands and conjured two massive fireballs—
One in each hand.
I might not have killed any monsters yet, but I had trained my magic a bit.
The men's eyes widened in shock as the fireballs shot toward them. They raised their swords and blocked the flames. A powerful explosion followed, shaking everything.
The two men were blown back, crashing through the door and the wall.
They landed flat on their backs in the hallway, and I used gravity magic to pin them to the ground.
"I can't move!"
"What the hell is happening?!"
"Boss, help us!"
"Boss!"
The two began shouting as the gravity pushed them harder against the floor, bones beginning to snap under the pressure.
I slowly walked toward them and saw their boss, staring at me with a terrified expression.
I smiled at him and focused the pressure on the men's heads, slamming them against the ground. The floor cracked, and I began to hear the sound of their skulls being crushed while they screamed in agony.
At that moment, I felt my body heat up, and my strength surged meteorically.
Some strange things started floating in front of me, but I ignored them.
"What's going on here?!"
"Help! We're under attack!"
"Get that guy with the weird hair and eyes! He killed them!"
As more people appeared to try and stop me, the boss ran off to hide in his office. I used fire magic to create an explosion that brought the ceiling down, blocking the path.
Then, I followed after him.
On the way, a few men tried to block me, but I used the sword I'd taken from one of the others to cut them down.
I was able to use it surprisingly well, despite never having used a sword before.
I quickly reached the boss's office.
I kicked the door with all my strength, sending it flying and smashing his desk in half.
"Where are you hiding? No need to be scared. I just want to talk."
When I entered the room, I couldn't see him anywhere.
Did he escape through a path I didn't notice?
There was no window or other door in the room.
That's when I noticed a hole in the floor—right where the desk had been. It must've hidden the passage. I grinned maliciously and tossed the desk aside. I jumped into the hole and found a corridor.
It was about two meters high—just enough for me to run comfortably.
I advanced through the darkness for a few meters until I started to feel someone's presence. Someone moving quickly—but not as quickly as me.
"Got you," I said as I caught up to the boss.
"Ah! Let go of me, you freak! What Familia are you from? Who sent you? This was your plan all along, wasn't it?!"
He screamed as I restrained him with gravity magic.
He couldn't move an inch.
That's when I heard a voice.
[Madara, they screwed up, didn't they?]
'Yes, Master. They tried to imprison me to steal your things.'
[I figured something like that might happen.]
'Master—'
I was about to ask if I should kill them all, but before I could, my consciousness faded.

POV: Zane
As soon as I heard what was happening, I immediately shifted my consciousness into Madara's body.
How could I let such fun pass me by? Of course, I wanted to handle this personally!
I left Clone 16 on the 16th floor. He can handle that situation.
Once I took control of Madara's body, I realized I was in the dark, inside a cramped space.
'Reminds me a bit of the corridor I saw before coming to this world.'
On the ground in front of me, that bald bastard was lying there, trembling in pain.
"What are you going to do? Kill me? If you do, there will be consequences!"
"Consequences? I don't give a damn. So, what exactly were you planning?"
Madara had already told me everything, but I wanted to hear it from the man himself.
"I..."
"Come on. Spit it out." I used gravity magic to press him into the ground and pointed Madara's sword at his face.
"I just wanted the stones and the items, okay? That's all. I wasn't going to hurt you!"
"Are you kidding me?"
"I'm serious!"
It'd be great to have a lie-detection ability for moments like this.
Huff~~
I let out a long sigh.
"Alright, alright. I don't care whether you wanted to kill me or not. You wouldn't have been able to anyway. So—how much was it all worth?"
"A few million."
"Get up. Take me to the money. I want every coin you've got in this place."
"No, not that!" The man grew even more desperate.
"If you don't take me there, I'll take your head and find it myself."
"Urgh…"
The man struggled to his feet and walked past me.
After a few minutes, we returned to his office. We came out of a hole in the floor.
The office door had been broken, and the desk was in pieces. The place was a mess.
The man walked to a painting on the wall and removed it.
"It's here." He fiddled with something, and the wall opened like an automatic door.
I didn't even know that kind of tech existed in this world.
"Go in," I told him.
He entered, and I followed.
Inside, there was a vault.
Money everywhere. Millions and millions.
My eyes lit up.
"Fuck, that's a shitload of money."
"..." The man stayed silent as his eyes filled with tears and his body trembled.
"Please… Please…" He began to beg. "Please don't take all my money. UWAAAAA! I'll never do anything like this again! Please!"
The man dropped to his knees and cried like a child.
Feeling uncomfortable, I took a few steps back.
"Please! Please!"
But he dragged himself toward me, still crying.
"Cut that crap!" I shouted and kicked him in the face.
With a loud thud, he collapsed, unconscious.
Then I heard some voices in the distance.
"We cleared the path!"
"Come on, the boss is in danger!"
"We have to help him!"
The voices were getting closer.
So I stepped out of the vault.
"I don't want to damage the money, so I'll handle everything out here."
