Coralis and Alejandro sat with their back against the cameras drinking their daily soup. When done, they tore down the Styrofoam bowl and crafted three keys. Satisfied with their shape, they pretended to pee in their bucket to hide the keys in their underwear without raising suspicions and pushed the pile of Styrofoam pieces toward their respective cell gate.
An hour later, Sonylla invited Coralis in her mind to show her a detailed map of their jail on her hologram, sent to her by Erik.
"Your posse are geniuses. We suspected it, but what they dug up proved it. Look at this," said Sonylla, pointing at a circle drawn on the jail. "You two and their prisoners accused of witchcraft are being kept separately, in an abandoned wing located in the subbasement. You and Alejandro are over here, at the eastern dead-end of that wing."
"That's also why I wanted Sebastian to reach out to them. Even better if they contacted you directly with it. That kind of stuff is their specialty."
"I can tell. There is a storage room in that subbasement and it's where they believe they are keeping your stuff," said Sonylla, pointing at a red line drawn from their cell to another room. "That's the path they said you should follow to get to their storage area to retrieve your paraphernalia before leaving."
"Give me a minute to memorize it and I'll be out of your brain."
"Take the time you need, you cannot fail, girl. I'll invite you again to view it before it's time to execute your plan," said Sonylla pointing at a green circle and a green line linking that circle to the storage unit, "That's where they're holding the other prisoners. They're thorough."
"Hmm, so their cells also connect to the storage room through the ventilation conduits."
"There is a security room over there, but they don't think it's being used and from what you told us, no one ventures in your block between midnight and 6. Your posse is currently working on getting the guards' schedule and rotation details. When are you planning on getting out of there?"
"We're finalizing the game plan at the Kruger National Park. We cannot fail that one too, so we're taking the time to fine-tune it and make it foolproof. It's probably going to be the night before the execution."
"Two more days and you're out of there, then. You and I will have a time difference of 10 hours and a half, we're changing back to daylight saving time on Sunday morning. I'll need to remember that when I give them your plan."
"It's 10 hours and a half with Winnipeg, but it'll be 7 hours once I'm near Johannesburg."
"Whatever you do, make sure you're out of there before execution time. Will I be allowed to finally heal you when you're out?"
"No. Save your stamina for the second portion of the plan, just in case it doesn't go as planned. I'll tell you when it's safe to do so. One last thing and I'll be out of your head. When you talk to High Mage Finnas, tell him to make sure General Tobly stays out of it. We'll get Jourmol out of captivity, but we can't have anyone interfering and messing with the plan."
"Girl, you realize that at this point, our remaining elders are taking orders from you, right? Well, not orders, but they are accepting plans from you before they accept plans from General Tobly. I love it," said Sonylla, chuckling.
Over the next 2 days, Coralis and Alejandro finalized their escape plan. They made additional crafted keys and got beat up by the guards when collecting the pile of shredded Styrofoam. They trusted the plan to free their members and take down the radicals' compound by Kruger National Park was solid, so they focused on refining the escape portion. They couldn't get caught.
Coralis sat near the bars separating her cell from Alejandro's and looked closely at them.
"The biggest mistake these guys made, was to lock us up without our binds and eyeglasses, thinking we'd be powerless without them."
"For sure. However, not having our binds could have exposed us. It nearly did expose me a few times, which I think our foes were hoping would happen."

"Are you home?" said Sebastian over the phone.
"Yes, why?" said Frank, holding the phone while searching for seasoning in the spice rack.
"Expect me at your place in 5 minutes with two elders."
Frank walked over to the living room and looked at Samantha, who was reading a book in the living room.
"I hope you aren't too hungry, we're about to get visitors. I'd rather not get distracted in the kitchen, so I'll make lunch when they leave."
"That's fine, M. Blue. I can wait, or I can make lunch if you want me to."
"It's Sebastian coming with two CMMA elders so it's probably to update me about Blue. I think you'll want to hear what they'll say."
Samantha folded the corner of the page she was reading and put the book down.
"Yeah, I do want that."
Exactly 5 minutes after Sebastian's call, his doorbell rang and Frank pressed the buzzer to unlock the door down the indoor stairs. Sebastian came in, followed by High Mage Finnas and High Elf Yalor.
"Hey Samantha!" said Sebastian and she waved back at him.
Samantha moved to sit on one of the single-seater chairs so High Mage Finnas and High Elf Yalor could sit on the couch. Frank sat on another chair and Sebastian on a stool by the kitchen island.
"As Agent Windflame told you, Blue Thunder and Alejandro Salinz are planning to escape and complete the mission started by some Shadow Elemental members in South Africa," said High Mage Finnas.
"They will start enacting their plan tonight at 2 O'clock, local time. Blue Thunder's and Alejandro Salinz's jailbreak is historical for us. When they are done with the second half of it, we would like her to portal to our Headquarters with Jourmol for her version of events, but she insists on coming back to you in Montreal first, which we do understand," said High Elf Yalor.
"We think that you may like to follow how the second portion of tonight's events will unfold with us at Headquarters, through our holographic monitor and Sonylla's connection to her, so here is what we suggest. Later this afternoon, Sebastian Larameer could pick you up and fly you to our headquarters," said High Mage Finnas.
"Arrive before they are set to start the second portion of their plan and plan to stay for the night. That way, you two can reunite when their night is over and you could also assist at our meeting," said High Elf Yalor.
"Yes, if it's fine with you, I'd like to join you tonight."
During the day, Coralis and Alejandro tried to get some rest, but couldn't. They received more beatings than usual throughout the day and when the guards weren't in their cells, they were too anxious to rest.
"It's time," said Whazk.
