Chapter 91 - Chapter 91: This Is Not A Mission, It Is A Purchase

Tony Stark felt a sense of helplessness, but for him, everything could be solved with money. Fortunately, aside from buying the lithography machine, Smith and his team could purchase other things with money, and Tony Stark knew all too well that money was something he could easily deal with.

As for the lithography machine, Smith didn't require anything too advanced. In Liyue, it wouldn't even be fully utilized, but they could certainly use it for research purposes once they brought it back.

Nashida: "Smith, are you guys still not done? The Mandarin is dying."

Smith: "Okay, Chen Ge is almost full. Thanks to Tony Stark for his funding, you can go ahead and take care of the Mandarin."

Nashida: "That's good. Do you want to take those rings with you?"

Smith: "Take them with you. While they might not be useful to us, we can't leave them here for SHIELD and Hydra to benefit from."

After filling Chen Ge with thousands of photovoltaic panels, Smith turned to Tony Stark. "Thank you so much for your support, Mr. Stark. In return, I'll share some information with you. Your kidnapping, some time ago, was actually planned by your uncle. Don't worry, you'll figure it out if you dig a little. Your palladium problem has been hidden in the gift your father left you..."

This time, Tony Stark was particularly cooperative, and Smith didn't mind sharing some helpful information. Smith continued, "By the way, your father's death was no accident. He was killed by Hydra. The current Hydra is still alive and has infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D., so good luck with that."

After saying all of this, Smith left the world, leaving Ye Lan by his side, without waiting to see Tony Stark's reaction.

Tony Stark stood frozen. "My father didn't die in a car accident but was killed by Hydra?" He was lost in thought. He wanted to ask more, but as soon as he turned to search, he realized they had already vanished.

"Jarvis, where did they go? Is the God of Wisdom still here?" Tony asked quickly.

"Sir, they have all disappeared, and they vanished almost simultaneously," Jarvis responded calmly.

Tony Stark frowned, his mind racing. If possible, he had a lot more to ask, particularly about the God of Wisdom. But his father's death, Hydra, and SHIELD... All of it needed to be investigated.

His mind was overloaded, and there was so much he had to deal with now.

Guild System Update:

Mission completed: Help Tony Stark eliminate the Mandarin.

Guild President Smith: 1500 points

Nashida: 27,000 points

Ye Lan: 1500 points

The guild received 300 experience points, and all members are encouraged to keep up the hard work.

Guild Status:

Guild President: Smith

Guild Level: 3 (950/1000)

Guild Members: 9/15

Personal Points: 57,500

Smith was just 50 points away from leveling up the guild again, which was a bit disappointing. However, with one more mission, the guild would soon break through to level 4. Every increase in the guild's level not only expanded the number of members but also enhanced the guild's functions, which Smith found incredibly important.

As for the 57,500 points, Smith was contemplating buying another godhood. That would give him three godhoods, accelerating his growth. However, he hesitated. If he used up all the points too quickly, he wouldn't have enough left for special products that he might need. After some thought, Smith decided to hold onto his points for now.

Ye Lan: "This is my first mission, and apart from being taken by the president to fly around, I mainly just collected things. Do you usually do missions like this?"

Ye Lan had expected missions to be much more exciting, but this one felt more like a simple shopping trip. The mobile phones and computers they had gathered were more than enough for Liyue to use for a long time.

Smith: "It's not always like this. It depends on the task's difficulty and the people involved... Some missions can be quite interesting!"

Nashida: "It's a pity I didn't discuss the issues with Tony Stark before. But I still appreciate the opportunity to complete the task."

Nashida knew that Morax had given her a chance to contribute. Liyue was indeed very strong now, but Xumi was still weak. She was also aware that she could buy useful special products in the future if she earned enough points, which would help her improve.

Zhongli: "You're welcome!"

Smith: "After all, it's you who contributed, right? This time, we brought back a lot of mobile phones, computers, photovoltaic panels, lithography machines, and even computer room mainframes. Why don't you think about how to distribute these?"

Smith paused for a moment. "I also think we could localize products like mobile phones and computers. If we incorporate alchemy, the results could be even better."

Nashida: "I'll work hard on that. Recently, I've been researching how to better integrate alchemy into civilian facilities. On Earth, humans rely a lot on oil and electricity, but in our world, there's not enough oil to mine. So, localized changes must be made, and alchemy seems like the best option."

Smith: "I believe in you, Nashida."

At Smith's Room:

"Are you back?" Keqing greeted Smith with curiosity as he entered the room.

"Huh? You didn't go to work?" Smith noticed that it was already nearly noon, but Keqing was still in her pajamas. It looked like she hadn't gone to work today.

Keqing replied seriously, "It's important to combine work and rest. You told me that yourself! Besides, I finished today's work yesterday. If I insisted on doing more, the people below would struggle to keep up. They need at least one day to complete the tasks I've arranged."
