Asher was used to dealing with his former best friend who was now his biggest enemy. He didn't seem afraid to face the criminal because right now he wanted to kill him. However, he kept an eye on the gun Philip was holding, afraid that Philip would suddenly attack Serena.
"It turns out I haven't talked to you in about ten years. Your face looks wrinkled," Asher said sarcastically.
"You never change, Asher. Since the beginning, you always show off your appearance that is more handsome than mine."
Asher laughed lightly. "Do I always show myself off? Wouldn't it be more likely that you made up a story to my wife so that she would hate me?"
"But it seems like your wife still loves you after going through all the obstacles in her life. Even though her life is always in danger because of your presence."
Serena shook her head quickly. "Don't trust him, Asher. I never hated you just because you dragged me into your problems. I still love you to this day."
