Sabrina found her outburst dramatic, but still, she apologised. She made to go but Aurora pulled her back.
"Where do you think you're going to?Do you have any idea how expensive this dress is?." Her yelling got the attention of everyone in the department, and all of them watched with keen interest at the drama unfolding before them.
Sabrina mentally rolled her eyes, "I already apologised. What else do you want me to do? Pay for the dress?."
"Pay for the dress?," Aurora gave her a belittling look, "I don't think you can provide the money for it."
"Says who?," she brought out her phone, "drop your account details, let me send the exact amount you want as compensation."
Aurora bit her tongue as she grabbed Sabrina's phone and threw it hard on the floor, causing some people to gasp.
She pointed at Sabrina, "Do I look like one who takes filthy money? Keep the money you're receiving from your sugar daddies to yourself!." She yelled. She expected Sabrina to react at her false accusation, but instead, she laughed.
Sabrina laughed as she brushed a tendril of her wavy hair, "You broke my phone? I'm sleeping with men? Have I slept with your dad before?."
Aurora blinked.
Before she could realise what was going on, Sabrina snatched her phone from her and held it in her hand looosely.
"You were staring at your phone when we bumped into each other. You were supposed to apologise, but instead, here you are, creating a big scene. As a way of apologising to me, don't you think I should smash your phone too? So we can be even?."
Aurora narrowed her eyes at Sabrina, "You don't dare. You won't dare do that."
Daisy was silently praying that Sabrina wouldn't do anything stupid. If she dared to act back or stand up against Aurora, she would be fired.
Sabrina's lips curled into a smile, "My mom didn't teach me about karma. She taught me how to be karma herself." With that said, with a force not expected of her, she smashed the phone so heavily to the floor that it shattered completely.
Aurora was surprised; shocked at her impetus, as well as her colleagues.
Owen had rushed over the moment he heard the noise, only to see the smiling face of Sabrina and the paled face of Aurora.
"What's going on?." He asked, but got no reply.
Sabrina smiled wider seeing the aghast look on Aurora's face.
"Tada! I dared to do it, and won't mind doing it again," She bent down, picked her phone and dusted it, "see you later, Miss redhead." Having teased her, Dabrina majestically walked away.
"What the hell happened, Aurora?," Owen sauntered towards her, "what's the meaning of this?."
"I will file a report against Sabrina Wonders to the CEO. I don't care about what will happen, but I will definitely file a report on her!."
Aurora was so mad she wished she could cut Sabrina into shreds. She would make sure Sabrina gets punished for what she did.
"You can't just file a report against her like that!."
"I can," she yelled at Owen, "I can and I will. Who the hell does she think she is? To smash my phone?."
She was ranting when Daisy held her hand, which startled her, "Miss Keithsman, please pardon Sabrina, she's—." Aurora angrily swung her hand away, causing her to fall on the floor.
She dusted the invisible dirts in where she was being held, "Don't think because you look presentable now, you have the right to touch me. As for your little friend, just know she will soon be kicked out of here." She hissed at her before leaving with a disdainful sneer on her face.
Owen helped her up, "Sorry. Don't take her action to heart."
Daisy felt her cheeks reddened at their closeness.
She stammered, "Yes, Mr Desmond."
Owen faced the rest of the crowd, that were staring, "Everyone, go back to your works. Stop being nosy."
At his unfriendly tone and command, everyone went back to their seats and resumed what they were doing.
On his way to his office, Owen couldn't help but chuckle lightly to himself when he recalled Sabrina's mocking smile at Aurora before she left.
Although there was a hint of worry in his face. He worried about what Aurora would do to her.
.
.
.
"Damn, damn stupid ignoramus!." Sabrina cursed under her breath as she wiped her cracked phone's screen.
To say she hated Aurora was understatement, but, atleast, she got her revenge.
Emily kept calling her nonstop, yet she didn't bother to pick or answer.
When she reached the Dongers restaurant, she saw an auburn haired woman, sitting by a corner, her legs crossed, leisurely sipping coffee.
She sauntered towards her.
Emily raised her head and smiled at the sight of her, "Hey."
Sabrina in return gave an ugly smile, "Hey." She mimicked as she pulled the chair and sat down, dropping her purse on the table.
Emily checked the time, "You're twenty minutes late."
Sabrina picked up a menu, flipping through it, "I'm working, of course you shouldn't expect me to draw our time easily for an unimportant meeting," she dropped the menu and faced her, "because, or maybe you're not working, you won't understand. But don't worry, I get. I get you."
Emily could see that Sabrina was trying to point her as a spoiled, rich jobless woman, who didn't value time.
But she pretended not to have noticed and continued.
"About Lexis. I told you I will have some discussions with you about him, right?." She asked as Sabrina beckoned on a waiter, and asked for double burgers and drinks.
"Yeah you did,"Sabrina said as the waiter left, "although I don't like the idea of other women talking about my husband," she said my husband with slight possessiveness, "I'll listen you you since you claimed to be his fiancée."
Emily clenched her hands beneath the table, confused by the swtitching of Sabrina's attitude.
"I'm not claiming. It's obvious that I'm his fiancée."
"Oh really? But he told me he doesn't have any fiancée and never did. Are you sure he even considered you for once as his wife-to-be?."
"He does!," Emily angrily banged her hand on the table, which caught the attention of other customers, their faces filled with surprise, except Sabrina, who sat calmly observing her with a smile.
