When I reached the age of twelve, I formed my Force Core and unlocked my affinity. Because of the Imperial's blood coursing through my veins, I had Lightning. It wasn't a surprise since our family is known for Lightning. But what made me special was my Force Level.
When a zolgarian forms their Force Core, they usually start at Force Level 1. However, because of the high amount of energy I possessed, I had Force Level 2 instead. Since the foundation of the Imperial family, I was the first child to start with Force Level 2.
Alas, they placed a heavy burden to my shoulders. I hated it. That was why I was eager to leave the family and never come back there again. I swore that to myself.
"You have a lot going on in your mind, don't you?" Arthur spoke gently. I flinched because his words were true.
"Yes." I spoke. I didn't even bother hiding it at this point. I knew that someday, I'm going to have to tell the truth to someone.
Arthur shifted closer to me, our hands almost touching. But I felt warmth from him, so I shifted a little to get closer to him as well. We both didn't speak for a few minutes, enjoying the silence and warmth we were experiencing from one another.
However, I failed to notice that a stream of tears was already falling from my eyes. Not because of my painful past, but because of the warmth I was experiencing being with someone. It was my first time experiencing it.
Arthur's hands wrapped around my shoulders, inching me closer to him.
"I'm here." Were the only words he said.

After that, we both said our goodbyes to each other. I told him the truth. Everything since I knew I could trust him.
As I got to my room and lay on my bed, I could still feel the heat Arthur was exuding off. I cherished it and enjoyed every second we both had while we were alone earlier.
'Is this love?'
I already knew the answer, but I still asked, nevertheless.
I giggled at the thoughts. Today has really been a busy day. But I'm glad that I have friends to hang out with.
Life is tough. But what makes it bearable is that you have friends to fill the void in your heart and to rely on whenever you are facing a tough time. So, cherish every moment you have with them. Because it is precious to find true friends.
