"That's surprising to hear because I recall you running out of the training grounds after you threw Teo onto the floor. You were moving quite fast then, or did you forget?" Elijah asked.
"That wasn't me running away from you; it was me going to get changed to see my father. You should stop thinking everything is about you, Elijah. What reason would I have to run from a man that I can throw on his buttocks?" Rue asked, starting to move away to go to Lily.
"I don't know. You'll have to tell me why you were trying so hard to get away from me. You can fight the prince, but you can't fight me?" Elijah asked, knowing there was more to it. "You're more afraid of my father than the king?"
