The moment the word left her lips, everything shifted.
Daniel, who had been seconds away from tearing the world in half, froze completely. His body lost all tension, like a puppet whose strings had just been cut. He turned his head slowly to the side… and saw the hand resting on his shoulder.
His face drained of all color.
"…Mother."
Lucifer, still kneeling, looked up through the dust and cracked air. His voice was rough, tired. "Who are you?"
The woman didn't answer.
But Ruka did.
Not with words—just wide eyes and a sudden ache in his chest. A pull. Familiar. Deep.
Even Lucifer looked away for a second, as if he already knew—he just didn't want to admit it.
"Your Majesty,"
Both Teemah and Rey dropped into a low bow, without hesitation.
Rey still held Vina tight, her body twisted with pain from the burning mark Lucifer had left. Her screams quieted as the woman—Lilith—waved her hand once.
Vina exhaled, the pain vanishing like smoke.
