Chapter 84 - 0084 The Name

Adrian had been chatting with Kettleburn at the Three Broomsticks for a long time. Finally, the topic turned to Torch.

"What do you plan to do with Torch, Professor?" Adrian tapped the briefcase on the table and said, "Torch has grown quite large now. In a few more months, this case probably won't be able to contain him anymore."

Perhaps hearing its name, the briefcase suddenly moved, opening a small gap.

"Don't move!" Adrian pressed his hand on the briefcase, then looked helplessly at Kettleburn. "You see, it's become much more mischievous than before."

Fortunately, this commotion wasn't noticed by others in the Three Broomsticks.

"I've already thought of a solution—just haven't had the opportunity yet," Kettleburn nodded and added, "I found one of my former students who will take Torch to Romania."

"Transporting magical creatures across borders isn't easy."

"I know," Kettleburn said confidently. "That young man has some connections at the Ministry of Magic."

"Let me guess," Adrian thought for a moment before saying, "It wouldn't be a Weasley, would it? Charlie Weasley—he studies dragons in Romania. I've met him before."

"Ha! I thought you wouldn't know!" Professor Kettleburn was surprised, then laughed, "Arthur's boy will be going to Romania this Christmas. I'll have him help transport Torch there, and Charlie will take good care of Torch."

Adrian had heard that Charlie was also one of Kettleburn's favorite students. Hmm... Perhaps he himself was still the more favored one.

Then there was nothing to worry about with Charlie being there.

When they left the Three Broomsticks, Kettleburn took the briefcase containing Torch directly with him, saying he would handle everything and that Adrian shouldn't worry.

Adrian was naturally pleased.

Remus would be happy to hear this news, as just yesterday he had complained to Adrian about Torch's increasingly large appetite, requiring feeding more and more frequently, which was quite taxing for him.

After returning to Hogwarts from the Three Broomsticks, it was nearly dark, and Adrian went to the Great Hall.

The Great Hall was already decorated with many Christmas decorations, but it seemed somewhat empty because most students had gone home.

Of course, there were still a few scattered students preparing to have dinner.

Perhaps because of Christmas, or because there was less food to prepare, the house-elves had clearly made more elaborate food these days. They had shaped cookies into Christmas trees.

Harry was sitting at the Gryffindor table, teasing a green figure with a cookie. Next to him was a redhead who was obviously Ron.

That green figure, as Adrian discovered upon approaching, was a Chomping Cabbage.

"Harry," Adrian called his name from behind.

Harry turned around, revealing a surprised expression. "Professor!"

Adrian nodded and looked at the Chomping Cabbage, saying, "You actually brought the Chomping Cabbage here."

"Do you allow me to do this?" Harry asked.

"Well... I don't mind," Adrian shrugged, "But Professor McGona—"

"Then it's fine, Professor," Harry said cheerfully. "In fact, I've named it Mr. Guru."

As if to cooperate with Harry, Guru ate the cookie from Harry's hand and made a "guru guru" sound. Like a gentle cat.

Adrian didn't know how a Chomping Cabbage could make such a sound.

"Hermione says the name is super lame," Ron sighed beside him, "This is the first time I've agreed with her..."

"I don't think so," said Adrian.

As he spoke, he communicated with the Wisdom Tree, asking it to analyze the Chomping Cabbage.

[Name: Guru]

[Species: Chomping Cabbage]

[Level: 2]

[Trait: Gigantification]

[Status: Growing (95%)]

'Harry's Chomping Cabbage had grown so quickly,' Adrian said in his heart nodding to himself.

It seemed Harry had taken good care of it, and had been using the feed he had given him on schedule.

"By the way," Harry suddenly remembered something and said to Adrian, "I signed up to stay at school for the Christmas holiday. You know, I can't stand staying in that house for even a moment."

"Staying at Hogwarts is very good," Adrian agreed. "I heard that during the Christmas holidays, the house-elves put even more effort into preparing food."

"House-elves?" Harry asked in confusion.

"Ah, yes, they're the ones who make the food you eat at Hogwarts," Adrian realized that Harry didn't yet know about the existence of house-elves.

At this point, Harry suddenly realized something—Adrian had said "I heard," which suggested that Adrian probably had never spent Christmas at Hogwarts.

"Well, I should be going now."

Adrian looked at his pocket watch and headed toward the door. He needed to return to the plantation to tell Remus that Torch had been sent away.

Because he had left in such a hurry that morning, Remus still didn't know about this.

After Adrian left, Ron belatedly said to Harry, "Why didn't you ask Professor Westeros about Nicolas Flamel? Doesn't he like you a lot?"

Yes, just yesterday, while chatting with Hagrid, the two had accidentally learned the name of the three-headed dog on the fourth floor—Fluffy—and discovered that Fluffy was guarding something related to someone called Nicolas Flamel.

"We've already asked many professors," Harry said while eating a cookie, "They won't tell us anything. I don't think Professor Westeros would tell us anything either."

Seeing Harry say this, Ron could only sigh, "I hope Hermione comes back soon. She'll definitely find something in those ridiculously thick books she borrowed from the library."

"It doesn't matter if we don't know," Harry shrugged, "Once we figure out how to get past Fluffy and through that trapdoor, we'll find out."

Ron thought of those three terrifying big heads and shuddered, "You really plan to do that?"

"Of course," Harry nodded matter-of-factly, saying, "Considering what Professor Dumbledore said at the beginning of the school year, I guess that it must be a series of challenges designed for adventure-loving students."

"Is that what you think?" Ron asked blankly.

Harry sighed, then explained, "If Professor Dumbledore really wanted to hide something, he would have hidden it somewhere nobody could find, rather than telling us not to enter the corridor on the right side of the fourth floor."

"That makes sense," Ron was convinced, then asked, "But how do you plan to get past Fluffy?"

Harry spread his hands, then set his gaze on his Chomping Cabbage.

Guru: "?"
