Chiro glanced at the screen before quickly approaching the president. To keep him safe, Chiro covered him in a box of Taurus Walls, which were nearly indestructible for a ronin to break down. It did take some convincing for the president to listen since he wanted to do more to help, but Chiro convinced him by stating his life would be more important later on.
"Lilia, take care of the president while I'm gone," said Chiro.
Lilia gave a thumbs up as Chiro ran outside the president's cabinet to the corridors. He looked at the golden pathways and trophies as he ran past them, the statues of the president.
"This is too much even for the president," scoffed Chiro.
Chiro ran and ran, crossing corridors and corners in what seemed like a maze. Eventually, he found a group of ninjas. The ninjas looked at Chiro, and they started to get ready for a fight. Chiro started to crack his knuckles.
"Look, please just leave," said Chiro, almost like a warning and plea mixed in one sentence.
All the ninjas laughed as they rushed to attack him. One ninja attacked first, his blade slicing Chiro's shirt, and one other ninja threw shurikens at him, stabbing Chiro's leg. One more ninja threw a poison magic bomb at Chiro, which left him coughing, trying to gasp for clean air.
All the ninjas laughed yet again as they all thought, 'Who is this guy who put up a trash fight and threatened them?'
Then, underneath the purple smoke, a voice was heard.
Chiro arose from the smoke and dissipated the smoke into the nearby surroundings, making the smoke harmless. He looked at all the ninjas and stroked the back of his neck.
"It'd take a lot more than that to defeat me," said Chiro.
Chiro healed himself in the purple smoke using Pisces Regeneration and adapted to poison a long time ago when he used Gemini Adaptability.
He ran towards the ninja, charging his fist with soul energy, before smacking each one on the face, knocking them out but creating no serious injuries. However, one ninja managed to stay conscious.
That ninja coughed up blood as he was trying to speak.
"I've heard of those abilities…Lieutenant," said the ninja.
"I am no Lieutenant anymore," said Chiro.
Chiro left the corridor and proceeded further as he saw multiple more ninjas in the corners. He did not use his sword to save time, so he just charged his fists with soul energy and used Sagittarius Aim to guarantee the attacks would always land. After the hallway was cleared, Chiro rushed up the stairs to the roof, where the security camera showed the two ronin were.
Once up the roof, only one ronin, Izak, was visible. He was a tall and slim man whose skin was slightly brown due to the tan. He was wearing a ronin uniform, which was black with golden strokes throughout the armor. The face was not visible since he was wearing a black mask, but the eyes were clear to view. Chiro unsheathed his sword and planned to attack without creating any noise, but as he stepped an inch forward, Izak noticed him and teleported behind him.
"Impressive," said Chiro.
Izak kicked him on the knee, which caused him to fall. he then picked Chiro's arms and threw him across to the other side of the roof.
Chiro came back and started to try fighting. Izak threw multiple kunai towards Chiro, but he blocked them all. The kunai that were deflected weren't useless; instead, Izak substituted the kunai and his place and teleported behind Chiro. This forced him to activate Taurus Wall to block Izak and then retaliate by using Sagittarius Aim to create a perfect him on Izak.
Izak tried to use Space/Time magic to teleport away, but Sagittarius Aim prevented that. If you get targeted by it, you have to take the strike. Chiro sliced Izak's chestplate in half, and Izak started to cough up blood.
"I can see how Ahsoka lost to you," said Izak.
"If that's a compliment, thanks," said Chiro.
Chiro did not lose focus and continued to fight. He started to swing his sword to create a barrage of attacks. Izak continued to fight as if he were unscathed and kept on teleporting around his attacks, and proceeded to stab him with a nausea potion. It did not work since he had already adapted to it by his Gemini Adaptability, which he had adapted to during his time as Lieutenant. Chiro removed the blade from his stomach, and Izak kicked him in the face, but he blocked it with Taurus Wall before Chiro charged up an attack and punched Izak straight to the guts.
Izak got back up and teleported towards Chiro, but unfortunately for Izak, Chiro had had enough.
"Sorcery of the Constellations:- Aries Wrath," said Chiro.
Aries Wrath is an ability that amplifies Chiro's attacks by two hundred percent and increases the damage that he can take by one hundred and fifty percent. He can only use this for around ten minutes, so in this time gap, he grows from the strongest in the battleground to the God of the battleground.
Chiro punched Izak again. This time, Izak went flying, colliding with a nearby trash can, his armor fully cracked and broken, and his uniform torn apart. Chiro grabbed his sword and went towards Izak and placed the sword towards his neck, as a threat.
"What are you doing in all these cities?" asked Chiro.
"I've seen that blade before, Lieutenant," said Izak, exhausted.
"Answer my question or I'll kill you," said Chiro.
Izak fainted as a hologram started to play from a device in Izak's palm.
In the hologram appeared Xhou, the second ronin who departed for Relvon. He sat comfortably on a gold chair in the presidential cabin, which made Chiro anxious.
"I knew it! You'll never change…You will always be a monster, won't you?" asked Xhou.
"I know I will…Where is the president? I swear if anything happens to him…I will kill all of you!" threatened Chiro.
"Nice threat, sometimes brawn is not the key, it's brains, this whole raid was one setup by me," said Xhou.
"What about Suzumi Hokage?" asked Chiro.
"He is nothing more than the overseer of our plans; I was the creator," said Xhou.
Chiro had stalled and made Xhou as comfortable as he could. His patience was wearing out. Now it was time for Chiro's plan to start unraveling.
Chiro instantly teleported to the presidential cabinet and went behind Xhou, who looked back in shock and terror. Then Chiro breaks the chair he was sitting on and stabs him before knocking Xhou out. Chiro searched Xhou's body, trying to find clues, but there was nothing except a small note that read:-
'You fell for my trap'
Chiro instantly looked around the unconscious body of the president, and Lilia was on the ground, and the note was a speck of the soul beast, Death Bomb's carcass. This was the most reactive and explosive piece of material in the world. Chiro instantly ducked and blocked the explosion with the Taurus wall, and the president was safe. Chiro sighed a breath of relief. Then another hologram started to play from the table in front of the place where Xhou was at this time, with none other than Suzumi Hokage speaking.
"Nothing was meant to happen at the other cities…But Akuza and the death of the president, along with the sealing of the calamity, were the true targets this whole time," said Suzumi.
Chiro was shocked, he quickly activated the Taurus wall, but it was too late, a metal hook grabbed his clothes before Izak himself threw an Alkanium Soul Beast Cage towards Chiro. The Alkanium Soul Beast Cage looked like a shiny, silver box with a deep, dark blue core. In a millisecond, Chiro got sucked in and he could do nothing. In a soul beast cage, the main way to subdue one is to torture them with the devices inside the cage to create utmost loyalty, but there was a catch. Chiro was Chiro Zanami, so he instantly adapted using Gemini Adaptability and just slept inside.
"Oh boy, I messed up, didn't I?" laughed Chiro inside his cage.
Suzumi was worried. How could Chiro be so calm in this situation?
"The only thing I should worry about is the president, but he was a goner anyway. There might finally be a change now," said Chiro.
Now, what Suzumi was trying to do to Akuza was the main problem that Chiro had. Of course, he left Danso, who is the second strongest in the DMMS, and Natsuki there, but he hadn't heard from either of them in hours. Well, Chiro had left it up to them. After all, even though he had to be burdened with being a protector and the strongest, he felt that it was good to let the younger generation grow in strength so that eventually one day…There might come a day when Chiro Zanami is not required anymore, and he could live in peace. That was Chiro's dream.
Suzumi Hokage only thought of one thing, and that was to conquer Lukia. Originally, Lukia consisted of Ninjaro and the Lukia we know today, but they both split due to the ninjas of Lukia rebelling. Now the ninjas want Lukia and make it into a Ninja-infested country.
"This country…All of it will be mine or no one's," thought Suzumi, the man who managed to bypass Chiro's indestructible Taurus Wall.
