Triplets!
I screamed in my head while Dr Albert's expression showed surprise. I'm sure he was surprised that the news of Nicole delivering triplets surprised me. Of course we were supposed to know, ultrasound should have shown us but we hadn't opted for ultrasound, despite Dr Cole's recommendations.
"Can we see them now?" Idris asked from behind me. His voice and tone carried the same excitement I felt.
"Yes, yes you can." Dr Albert replied but Idris was already on his way down the hallway from where Dr Albert had emerged from.
I too headed down the hallway and easily fell into place with Idris. We got into the ward and met Nicole and our babies. There were also nurses, three of them, putting things in order I guess. I didn't look at their direction to know exactly what they were doing.
