Summoning beasts make a contract...

In the Valley of the End in Konoha, Kitahara Hitoshi formed a one-handed seal, pressed his palm against the yellow sand, and in an instant, a massive contract formation composed of black ninja characters surged to life beneath him. The runes on one end of the formation slithered up Hitoshi's wrist while the other end enveloped Shukaku, who sat calmly nearby, indicating the creature's harmless submission.

Since being freed from Gaara, Shukaku's body had changed. The contract runes once placed by Rasa were long gone, returning him to a pure state. But now, those familiar markings began crawling across his form once more.

"Ah... again with this nonsense," Shukaku muttered to himself. Though tailed beasts typically didn't care about appearances, Shukaku had always disliked the restrictive sensation of contracts.

However, something unexpected happened. As the contract markings reached his body, they suddenly vanished. Surprised, Shukaku patted his belly.

In the chat group, conversation stirred.

Big Pillar Hanhan: Is this a contract failure?

Namikaze Minato: No. It succeeded.

Namikaze Minato: The summoning circle remains, but ordinary people can't perceive it.

Big Pillar Hanhan: So this is the evolved summoning beast contract formation.

Big Pillar Hanhan: Amazing that the younger generation has advanced this far.

Senju Tobirama: Big brother, if you knew this kind of summoning beast path was possible, why pursue the Jinchūriki method?

Big Pillar Hanhan: I didn't know tailed beasts could be utilized this way back then.

Minato remained silent. His contract with Kurama had been born out of necessity to protect the village, sealed by the Reaper Death Seal.

Meanwhile, Black Zetsu was observing quietly. Though it and Madara had returned to the moon, Black Zetsu could still peek into the group chat and see Kaguya through Kitahara Hitoshi's perspective.

Kitahara Hitoshi had absorbed Uzumaki clan knowledge, taught himself summoning techniques, and successfully forged a pact with Shukaku. This was far beyond a standard summoning. Signing a full contract with a tailed beast wasn't just difficult—it was unprecedented. The last to attempt it were Obito and Madara, and even those were temporary bindings, not true contracts.

Now Kitahara Hitoshi had done what none before him had: bound a tailed beast as a true summoning beast.

But Black Zetsu felt something off. Kitahara Hitoshi had previously kept Shukaku in the sky like a pet. Was this summoning contract simply for feeding Kaguya later? It seemed excessive.

Though powerless, Black Zetsu retained the pride of the Ōtsutsuki lineage and viewed all other beings, even tailed beasts, as inferior.

At that moment, Uchiha Madara spoke.

"Black Zetsu, how long until Obito completes the mission?"

The two stood within the sphere that had once sealed Toneri. Madara's massive Susanoo had shattered the moon, and fragments now orbited Shiren, making him its new core.

Due to the seals placed by the Sage of Six Paths and Toad Maru, three smaller moons now circled the original moon.

Madara had waited three days. He had entrusted Obito with draining Naruto and Sasuke of their Planetary Devastation opportunity, but nothing had happened. No new Planetary Devastation appeared. Madara's patience wore thin.

Yet Black Zetsu scoffed at the idea Obito would obediently carry out orders. Likely he was searching for his own moment. Madara's persuasion skills were mediocre at best, not even able to fool the Great Toad Sage.

Still, Madara's ability to destroy the moon demanded careful control.

"Be patient with Obito," Black Zetsu replied. "If this fails, we lose our leverage. If we go down and get sealed, we're finished. Or do you want to be locked away with your old pal Senju Hashirama? Tobirama would gladly see you sealed."

Madara fell silent for a moment, then nodded in agreement. Black Zetsu sighed. Madara's tendency to trust so easily would be his downfall. If Obito ever turned, Madara would suffer.

"While we wait," Madara continued, "bring out the Tenseigan. Let's take a look. It was a major loss not obtaining the Sage's power. But the Tenseigan from Toneri's branch is still intact. Can't be used, but it's worth examining."

Black Zetsu said nothing. The massive Tenseigan had already been absorbed by Kitahara Hitoshi. There was no longer anything to retrieve. An excuse was needed—maybe claim the scroll with it was left in a secret base.

With Naruto now possessing Six Paths Planetary Devastation, Madara no longer dared descend freely.

Suddenly, Madara stood up.

"Black Zetsu, what is that?"

Madara's eyes focused on a far-off point. Since Black Zetsu shared his body, their vision aligned.

What they saw was a wave of deep purple-red chakra surging closer. It wasn't just one presence—there were two.

In the chat group, more chatter began.

Senju Tobirama: Tch!

Big Pillar Hanhan: What is it, Tobirama?

Senju Tobirama: I'm logged in through Orochimaru's equipment. He may be a creep, but his tools are top notch. Kitahara-kun gave me access to them. I'm using Orochimaru's latest telescope and I found something strange.

Big Pillar Hanhan: Strange? Like what?

Senju Tobirama: Hold on, big brother. I need confirmation.

Tobirama logged off.

Pillar Hanhan blinked in confusion. Even Ohnoki, usually silent, perked up. But Tobirama didn't vanish completely. He immediately sought out Kitahara Hitoshi.

Boom!

"I've found something critical. Come with me."

He appeared beside Hitoshi in the Valley of the End, where the contract with Shukaku had just been finalized. Without warning, Tobirama placed a hand on Hitoshi's shoulder, and the two vanished.

It wasn't teleportation—they had simply used Flying Thunder God to relocate instantly.

Tobirama had been quietly tagging spots all across the shinobi world using Hitoshi's Flying Thunder God traces. He'd learned from Hitoshi's widespread usage and adapted.

"!?" Shukaku was stunned. In a blink, they were gone.

"I'm not even in the car yet!"

Frustrated, Shukaku logged into the live broadcast. In the chat stream, Kitahara Hitoshi now stood in Konoha's experimental room—the old Senju compound, still well preserved unlike the Uchiha district.

Unfortunately, the Senju's only remaining asset was the house itself, much to Tobirama's disappointment.

Tobirama's room was filled with Orochimaru's equipment. Earlier, he had been scanning the skies.

"I spotted two strange figures," he explained. "Suspected intruders."

His tone turned grim.

"Two more Ōtsutsuki."

And they were closing in.

And the two lovers...?

Do you mean siblings?

No.

Kitahara Hitoshi looked through the telescope and saw two immense purple masses of overflowing chakra. At the center stood two figures. One tall and thin, the other short and stout. Though humanoid, their features were distinctly abnormal—bluish skin and horns protruding from their heads.

Tobirama spoke, identifying them as similar to Shiren, manifestations of overflowing chakra. Their arrival signified an unstable surge in chakra, a phenomenon not seen since the moon descendants began appearing.

Kitahara Hitoshi narrowed his eyes. "This is the Ōtsutsuki clan," he said, voice low. "Ōtsutsuki Taoshi and Jinshi. Both at the Six Paths level. Comparable to Shiren, or even beyond."

The two advanced from afar, but their trajectory shifted mid-flight—toward the ninja world.

"...This is bad," Tobirama muttered. "Did they notice us watching?"

Kitahara Hitoshi shook his head. "Not yet. They're not that sensitive. My guess—eighty percent—they saw Morizuru."

One Tail Shukaku reacted in the chat group.

Shukaku: Huh? They saw me!?

Mount Myōboku's loyal dog responded uneasily.

The loyal dog of Mount Myōboku: What do the Ōtsutsuki want? Their chakra is insane… I wouldn't lose to Asura, but this…

Black Zetsu and Madara had sensed these intruders. They shared Shiren's aura. Black Zetsu, alarmed, tried warning Kitahara but realized Tobirama already noticed. He still raised the question lingering since the Sage of Six Paths era—who exactly are the Ōtsutsuki?

Weren't Kaguya, Hagoromo, and Hamura the only ones? Hagoromo shaped the ninja world, Hamura went to the moon, and Shiren descended from him.

But now—two unknown Ōtsutsuki had arrived.

It made no sense. The seal on Kaguya was supposed to end everything. Yet here were new threats with no origin in the history Black Zetsu manipulated.

And they were powerful.

Kitahara Hitoshi remained quiet, absorbing it all. He recognized them. Jinshi and Taoshi. But this wasn't their timeline.

"This is the Boruto era," he muttered. "But they're here now. Meaning… this isn't just the main timeline—it's a mix of canon, anime, and movies. A hodgepodge. There's no clean way to explain this."

"Generally, these two shouldn't be here," he continued. "But they represent the Ōtsutsuki's broader threat. The moon you see—constructed through Rinnegan power. And shinobi power differs from ordinary humans."

"Why not trace upward? Sage of Six Paths had great power—but even above him, there were more. The Ōtsutsuki clan."

"They want to plunder all chakra," Kitahara said. "Which makes them enemies of all shinobi."

"And now that they're heading straight toward the ninja world, they've definitely noticed Morizuru. They're targeting his chakra."

Shukaku reacted again.

Shukaku: So I'm a target now? I was free… but also free because I'm food?

Shukaku trembled. The Ōtsutsuki, the Divine Tree, and Kaguya—all used tailed beasts as chakra sources. He didn't want to be consumed again.

Then Mount Myōboku's loyal dog blurted out:

The loyal dog of Mount Myōboku: Oh no! Sage of Six Paths, what were you thinking?

The loyal dog of Mount Myōboku: Toad Maru tricked me… My mother only wanted to control the ninja world, but we believed she was evil and sealed her.

The loyal dog of Mount Myōboku: But she was fighting against the greater Ōtsutsuki threat!

Even the First Hokage looked stunned.

Everyone realized why the Sage of Six Paths was called an unfilial son. He sealed his mother… thinking it was the right thing. But now it was clear she was trying to resist a far more dangerous enemy.

At that moment, the system alert blared.
