The meeting was leaps and bounds above anything that Tristan could have predicted. Not only were they talking things out they were actually making progress.
They were not just there wasting time going over useless things. It was refreshing. Were it possible, Tristan would have bottled the core elements of their conversation that evening and turned them into something drinkable. An elixir that he would force feed members of the board before every meeting to make sure that they were actually productive. For them to actually come up with ideas(Ariel's might have been far fetched...canned beans, really!) but she had still contributed a great deal.
Plus he liked the way her eyes lit up as she spoke. It also helped that her ideas, while 'out there' had helped Tristan formulate his own fictional version of events. But before he shared it with her, Tristan took a moment to just look at her.
