In most of the romantic movies that she had watched. The main couple having a romantic breakthrough was epic. Often there was some huge weather event going on outside. Like maybe a blizzard or thunderstorm. The couple, after a long heated argument would finally realize that they loved each other, and things would heat up. They would kiss( and sometimes make love) then they would spend hours just talking.
But since she and Tristan were not in a romantic movie, things had not worked out that way for them. That was not to say that things had not been great, they had been spectacular. The two of them had spent several long minutes making out. with Ariel getting to explore every marvellous inch of Tristan's mouth and allowing him to do the same with her own.
