Akamir slowly opened his eyes only to find Nayomi inches away from his face.
"…What?"
Nayomi smiled. "Let me teach you something."
Akamir looked at her as she blinked innocently.
He sighed and moved his face back. "And what is that?"
Nayomi moved back and extended her hand forward. "Take out a sword or any other weapon."
Akamir stood up as he stretched his body, a grunt escaped his lips.
He took out a sword and passed it to her. "Now what?"
Nayomi raised her hand and broke a twig from a nearby tree.
She then extended her hand to her side and exhaled.
A faint bluish hue submerged the twig completely.
She looked at Akamir. "Try cutting it down."
Akamir's brow furrowed but he didn't question her.
'Let's just try it.'
He stepped forward and lifted his blade, aligning it with the twig.
He swung.
Clang!
The sword bounced off the twig with a sharp recoil, sending a jolt up Akamir's arm.
"The hell?"
Nayomi didn't flinch. "Try again."
