"Group up, stand your ground!!" The Warden ordered, using the "Warden's Command" stigma ability and the guards quickly followed his orders, grouping together as a single unit and firing at the approaching Diabolic Imps. The imps tried to maneuvre out of the bullets trajectory, but their flight speed wasn't fast enough. One of the Diabolic Imp's kicked the air and flames exploded from it, pushing him a few meters away, out of the bullets range and it immediately threw a fireball. The guards quickly scattered again and the fireball hit empty space, and exploded. The other six Diabolic Imp's followed their kin's example, using explosive flames from their feet to escape the bullets, and throw fireballs. This technique was not without consequences, as the soles of their feet were severely burnt, but they persevered.
"You two help!!" The Warden roared angrily, and Xavier felt something come over his mind, but it quickly disappeared. Mickey on the other hand got up, with his shield and sword in his hand, and a blank look in his eyes, walking out into the open. Xavier's eyes widened and he quickly caught his hand, and he snapped out of it.
'What the hell? Does....does the Warden have some kind of....ability?' Xavier wondered with wide eyes, as he immediately thought that was impossible, but then....he looked at the monsters that were literally throwing fireballs at them.
"Mickey, can you block the fireballs with your shield?" Xavier asked, but Mickey didn't respond, and instead glared at the Warden who was easily dodging the fireballs, but the explosions threw dust and debris in his face. He noticed what had happened as well, and he could feel his rage boiling.
"Mickey?!" Xavier said loudly
"Yes, but the heat will probably make it too hot to hold so I wager that I can't block too many." He replied, tearing his eyes from the Warden that was busy dodging.
"Good." He said and walked past him.
"Just put up with it for now, I promise you, we will get these assholes back." Xavier whispered as he walked past
"If I may make a suggestion sir." Xavier said, as he walked into the open, and the guards glared at him, a vital mistake in battle.
"I would suggest you spread out, the closer you are, the more of you the explosions will take out. I'll take care of that one.....please don't shoot me in the back." Xavier said, pointing towards the first Diabolic Imp, that was riddled with bullets, but it's strong vitality kept it alive. Xavier didn't wait for the Warden's approval and instead walked into the open, a distance away from the guards, allowing the monster to spot him. The monster immediately threw fireballs at him, and he easily dodged, but he was careful not to show off too much of his speed. Unlike the Warden and the rest of the guards, he was easily able to dodge the dust and debris by jumping into the air, and landing on a broken building.
The Diabolic Imp threw more fireballs at Xavier, but he dodged all of them, frustrating the monster. The monster kicked the air, causing flames to explode from it's feet as it shot towards Xavier.
'Increase AGI by 3.' Xavier commanded mentally.
"You are able to purchase + 3 AGI for 55 Points. Do you wish to make this purchase?"
"Yes" "No"
'All 55 points?! Yes.' Xavier thought, a bit peeved that all his points got spent in a day, but he knew that he would find more opportunities to trade monster stones later.

With his agility stat suddenly improved, he was able to barely dodge the imps claws as flew past him. The monster managed to slash his chest, and he gritted his teeth from the pain, and caught it's tail. The monster was both surprised and enraged, and it quickly spun around, trying to kick Xavier, but Xavier released his tail and grabbed his leg. Xavier intended to stab it in the leg, when he saw it's sole glow orange.
'Fuck.' Xavier thought and jumped back, but he didn't forget to throw his dagger. Fire exploded from the monster's sole and Xavier covered his face with his hands, causing them to be burnt and him to scream in pain. The monster flew a few meters away, and crashed heavily in the ground, as a dagger stuck out of it's lower jaw.
"Fuck!!!" Xavier screamed as he looked at his burnt arm, and just touching it illicited a lot of pain. He jumped over to the monster's corpse, and pulled his dagger, and putting it back in cloth he wrapped around his waist.
'Let's see how these bastards faire in combat.' Xavier thought, but he prepared to step in if Mickey was in trouble.
