Edger placed his glass on the table and started to set up the chess board.
Alex also leaned closer, his smirk tugging at his lips.
"It won't be as easy to win this time old geezer," Alex spoke, his hands reaching for the white pieces on the side, "I know all your tricks now."
Edger paused, he looked at Alex with a glint in his eyes,
"Is that so…?" He muttered and returned to setting up his black pieces.
After a couple of minutes, they both finished.
"You should make a move first..." Alex said as he raised his glass and took a sip,
"Confident are we now..." Edger chuckled, "Then I wont stand on ceremony."
Edger reached for his pawn and slide it to the center.
Alex watched closely, his eyes never leaving the board as he studied it, like there was secret to eternal like engraved on it.
Finally, he also leaned in and moved his pawn, also planning his own attack strategy.
