Alex stepped closer, his smirk still plastered on his lips,
"Let me guess. You're probably tired of your father not giving you the president's seat at the company, so you thought you'd take it."
Jack felt a bead of sweat forming on his forehead when Alex spoke,
"Seeing Edger Thorne here, you saw your ticket to the top," Alex paused, his hand brushed his chin as though he was in thought,
"And you thought, 'what better way to get someone to invest in you other than to bark for them like a dog.'"
