When she heard his answer, Ana pressed down harder- slowly and deliberately, she twisted her from side to side as though she wanted to drill a hole on his shoe.
But Alex endured, his smile never faltering,
"I never caught your name." He spoke as he tried to dull the pain with the whisky,
Celena, still looking at him with her raised eyebrow, she could see the man was uncomfortable, but he hid it so well she could pinpoint why he was uncomfortable.
But she paid no attention to it,
'If he going to brush it off as nothing, why bother myself.' She thought as she answered,
"My name is Celena,"
As soon as she spoke, Alex took her hand, brought it towards his lips and perked it delicately,
"Pleasure making your acquaintance."
Caught off guard by his gesture, Celena looked at Alex closely,
'He's bold,' She smiled lightly, 'I like it.'
As she was about to respond, the lights dimmed, and the music that was used to bury and conversations the people were having also died down.
