When Penny followed Chris away, Hughes ran back to her master. If everything Barnaby heard was correct, then this was a serious matter.
Her feet flew over the tiled floors as she rushed back to the lab. Panic crept up her throat. If anything happened to Miss Penny, Hughes couldn't imagine what her master would do
Lately, the man seems very attached to the girl and he seems to be staying sane a lot.
He no longer moved around the mansion in that lab coat, looking for things to use for his next experiment.
That is how Hughes had found out about their master's on-and-off madness. She had screamed so loud her own ears rang that night, until Osvaldo quietly asked her to stop.
And when she did, he simply walked away.
She thought she was dreaming.
The same feeling Penny had. But she couldn't tell Penny the truth yet. That's because Osvaldo made them sign a deal never to spill the truth.
