The X-Men's fighter jet descended gracefully, coming to a halt directly in front of Robert. The hatch hissed open, revealing Cyclops and Storm as they stepped out onto the tarmac.

Robert raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. "Oh? Teachers, what brings you here?"

Unlike Robert's more relaxed lifestyle, the X-Men were perpetually engaged—teaching at the Mutant Academy, handling missions, and managing the myriad responsibilities that came with their roles. Their unexpected visit was indeed unusual.

Cyclops and Storm exchanged a glance before Cyclops spoke, his tone measured. "Magneto has escaped. We came to inform you and to ensure you're safe."

Robert's brow furrowed. "His powers have returned? That shouldn't be possible. The System's potion was supposed to suppress his abilities for at least a year. How much time has passed?"

Cyclops offered a slight smile. "That's not the case. Raven took him away. Professor Charles... softened."

Though Cyclops didn't elaborate, Robert understood. The relationship between Charles and Erik was complex—a blend of rivalry and deep friendship. Their ideological differences had driven them apart, but the bond remained. Charles's connection with Mystique added another layer to the intricate web.

Robert had anticipated Magneto's eventual rescue, but the swiftness of the event caught him off guard.

"I see. I'll remain vigilant. Thank you, Teachers."

He felt a genuine sense of gratitude. The plight of mutants was challenging, and the fact that two key members took the time to check on him spoke volumes.

"You're a student of our Mutant Academy," Storm said gently. "It's only natural for us to be concerned. Besides, your talent is exceptional."

Robert smiled, appreciative of their concern. They engaged in a discussion, exchanging insights on harnessing their abilities. As the sun climbed higher, the two mutants bid farewell, reiterating their caution about the Brotherhood of Mutants.

Robert nodded, confidence evident. With his current strength, any confrontation with Magneto and his allies would be unpredictable. Moreover, without his helmet to shield against mind control, Magneto would be wary of provoking Professor Charles. Harming a student could lead Charles to use Cerebro to locate him effortlessly.

Content, Robert resumed his peaceful fishing routine.

The notification brought a smile to Robert's face. While recent gains had been modest, the consistent increase in his attributes, especially Spirit, was encouraging.

"This feeling of growing stronger is exhilarating," he mused. "I wonder when I'll reel in something truly extraordinary."

As if on cue, a sudden tug on his fishing rod jolted him.

"Hmm? A catch!"

Robert's senses heightened as he grappled with the rod. The force pulling against him was formidable, almost as if it aimed to drag him into the water. Given his enhanced physique—nearing 150 points—he possessed immense strength. Yet, this catch tested his limits.

"This must be something valuable," he thought, eyes gleaming. From experience, he knew that the more precious an item, the more resistance it offered.

Determined, Robert summoned all his strength. His muscles bulged, and his clothes tore under the strain.

"Come to me!" he roared.

With a final heave, the water's surface erupted. A red fish emerged, thrashing violently. Despite its resistance, Robert secured it, placing it into his pocket. A red light flashed, revealing information about his catch.

[Nine Realms Eye]

[Nine Realms Eye: The eyes used by Heimdall, the God of Asgard, to monitor the Nine Realms. All the secrets of the Nine Realms cannot be hidden, and it contains the mysterious Power of the World Tree.]

Joy spread across Robert's face. The Nine Realms Eye was a significant artifact. Heimdall, Odin's trusted guardian, wasn't merely a watchman. His eyes could perceive events across all realms, making this acquisition invaluable.

In the days that followed, Robert continued his routine. The tranquility was occasionally interrupted by minor events, but nothing disrupted his peace.

One morning, as he prepared his fishing gear, a familiar voice called out.

"Robert!"

Turning, he saw Ryan approaching, a grin on his face.

"Ryan! What brings you here?"

Ryan chuckled. "Heard about your recent catch. Thought I'd drop by and see it for myself."

Robert laughed, "Word travels fast."

They sat by the water, reminiscing about their days at the academy. Their conversation was light, filled with shared memories and laughter.

As the sun began to set, Ryan stood up. "I should get going. Just wanted to check in."

Robert nodded. "Thanks for stopping by."

Watching Ryan disappear into the distance, Robert felt a sense of contentment. The world was vast, filled with challenges and uncertainties. Yet, moments like these, shared with friends, made it all worthwhile.

Another day, another gain. Robert felt the incremental changes, each one bringing him closer to his goals.

As he cast his line into the water, he whispered, "What surprises await me today?"

The adventure continued.
