It was late into the evening, but not quite curfew. Ashrosaliera barely slept.
She woke up, but noticed that Tarnisha had not.
"Is she going to be safe here?" Ash asked Torello, looking over at her goat beastman friend.
"That question should be phrased differently." Torella Smotline answered, shining her hand over Tarnisha's bandages, "Yes, this is undoubtedly the safest place in the academy, followed by all the bathrooms."
Torella looked ridiculous with all these hairstyles, no matter how Ash looked at her, awake or asleep.
"You guys don't have your priorities straight." Ash raised her head up slightly from her pillow.
"How so?" Torella raised her eyebrows.
"I don't know. The safest place is the infirmary, and the bathrooms are the best. That just sounds weird."
