Once the battle ended, Phoebe's team returned to congratulate Alex and his group on their victory over the Boss Monster.
However, someone put a stop to their praises and confronted them straight on.
"We don't need you here," Renard growled in anger. "Instead of fighting with us, you just ran. Since all of you are useless, what's the point of keeping you all here? Scram before I kick you out by force!"
"W-What's wrong with you?!" one of the trial takers replied, embarrassed but also defiant. "What's wrong with running away? Those are Boss Monsters. We can't fight them head-on!"
The other trial takers also voiced several excuses, but Renard wouldn't accept any of them.
Just as conflict was about to erupt between the two sides, Alex stepped in and gave Renard a pointed look, indicating that he would handle it.
