Chapter 179 Why Don't We Ask the Deceased Himself

"It's a pleasure to see you all again."

Mr. Fantastic Reed Richards stood on the podium in the center of the room, while everyone else sat on the stepped seats, just like a university professor giving a lecture.

"Presumably, everyone knows why we've gathered here. So, let's get straight to the main topic. Yang Le, Franklin, please come up." There was no other way; when they became zombies, they were already dead and had no memory of the past few years. They could only have Yang Le and Franklin, the two experiencers, narrate first and then make plans.

Under the gaze of many big shots, Yang Le and Franklin walked to the podium. Yang Le wasn't usually the type to be stage-frightened, but facing the attention of so many big shots, his inner heart couldn't help but waver slightly. But it was just a bit of excitement, and he quickly adjusted. He took the clip-on microphone that Reed Richards handed him and clipped it onto his clothes.

First, it was Franklin. He narrated in detail the major events that had happened in recent years and what he knew about the Brood. From the fall of the Galactus Blood Nest, the Blood Nest spreading, then the global collapse, to Franklin's eventual reversal of the situation.

No one interrupted Franklin's speech, silently listening to the entire process. However, as Franklin narrated, their expressions became increasingly solemn. Only after Franklin finished narrating did Yang Le open his mouth to speak.

"It seems everyone has noticed the problem. Yes, just like I said that day, why did Galactus maintain a human appearance even after death?" "We all know that Galactus's true entity is a pure energy body with an immeasurable limit, but it has the characteristic of transforming into the same species as the observer. This is quite terrifying to think about."

Yang Le looked around, scanning his gaze across the faces of all the big shots one by one. "Who exactly has been observing Galactus until his death, and then he became the breeding ground for these cosmic insects?"

"This is indeed the most crucial problem." Doctor Strange's expression was serious. Leaning towards the microphone on the table, he transmitted his sound to the entire venue. "First of all, I don't think it's someone from our universe. After recovering, I immediately went to ask the cosmic deity and hell demon. They all denied doing it, which is normal. After all, this crisis cannot bring them any benefits, not even Mephisto would do such a thing."

"I think we can lock the goal on humans." Gladiator said, crossing his arms. "After all, when Galactus died, wasn't he maintaining a human state?"

"That's not necessarily true." Amadeus Cho, the youthful Hulk, currently using the code name Hulk, stood up to refute Gladiator. This character, who ranks among the top in intelligence in the Marvel Universe, had a different idea. "Wanting to disguise oneself as another race is too simple. The simplest clone body, inhumanely speaking, can be done with just a little money."

Everyone present agreed with Cho's point of view. Cloning an ordinary human is not difficult for anyone present. "Franklin, didn't you see that person?" Professor X asked, the meaning self-evident.

"Then what should we do? If all else fails, let's just go ask Galactus himself." Gladiator shrugged, giving up. This was indeed a method. Everyone turned their gaze to Franklin again. Here, only he had the ability to revive a deity instantly.

"I haven't revived him yet." Franklin scratched his head. "After all, he's a bit temperamental." Actually, at first, Franklin wanted to revive Galactus along the way, but later he gave up because he was afraid of trouble. The main reason was that he was afraid this deity would cause trouble. After all, he died without any dignity. Who knew if he would fly into a rage and cause trouble everywhere. When that time came, they would still need to rely on him to solve it, so it was better to nip the trouble in the cradle from the start.

"Let's revive him anyway, Franklin." Yang Le patted Franklin's shoulder. "If he doesn't listen, just beat him up until he does."

"Hey, little guy, you've got quite the tone." Gladiator's corner of mouth turned up. Don't underestimate Galactus just because he's been constantly frustrated. His true strength is such that even if everyone present combined their strength, they could only resist his advance, of course, not including Franklin.

"Just stating the truth." Yang Le said with a smile. If it were Galactus's brothers and sisters, the four abstract entities, Yang Le might not have a method right now. But for Galactus, who has been weakened quite a bit, X-DNA could still take him on. Not to mention, he still had a big shot by his side.

Yang Le patted Franklin's shoulder again. The feeling of safety was almost overflowing. What Galactus? Just a toy. "Alright then." Franklin also thought this was a good method. Instead of guessing blindly here, it was better to directly ask the deceased himself.

Franklin swayed his body and grew to about twenty years old again. He raised his hands, and in the next second, this room, including everyone in the room, appeared in the universe. A transparent film enveloped them, maintaining their life.

White light burst out from Franklin's eyes again, and terrifying energy surged from his body. This energy floated out of Franklin, out of the film, and slowly reassembled in the distance. This energy began to gather in an organized manner into a giant humanoid form, slowly depicting the appearance of Galactus.

In fact, for Franklin, reviving a deity is not a difficult business, but that's for his adult self. Now, he was just forcibly raising his strength to adulthood, so it was naturally much more troublesome. But it was just a little more trouble. After about a minute, the giant physical body of Galactus was created by Franklin.

Franklin slowly exhaled, wiping away non-existent sweat. The work of revive was not yet complete. He had only constructed a shell; there was still the most important soul. Franklin waved his hand, and Galactus, who originally had no life signs, suddenly opened his eyes.

Almost instantly, Galactus, who was originally lifeless, suddenly erupted with an undeniable energy. This was not Galactus launching an attack, but because a deity of this level, just by existing, could emit undeniable energy. It was like a lighthouse in the dark night; even the lowest level lifeform could realize the existence of this deity at this moment.

After waking up, Galactus didn't make any movements, just turned his eyes to gaze at the crowd in the distance. To be precise, he should be gazing at Franklin, who was surrounded by the crowd.

"You saved me." Galactus's lips moved slightly. Even though the universe cannot transmit sound, everyone still heard what he said. Majestic and magnetic, quite pleasant to listen to. This was Yang Le's first idea. Looking at this powerful deity in front of him, Yang Le surprisingly didn't have much of a real feeling, no inviolable sacred feeling. He just felt quite down-to-earth.
