Cherreads

Chapter 182 - 182

The meeting finally ended after Doom and Reed's argument. Everyone had already deduced an answer, so naturally there was no reason to keep everyone trapped together.

Moreover, after chatting for so long, Galactus was also hungry. If they stayed any longer, he might lose his mind.

And so, after everyone's discussion, this meeting came to a relatively satisfactory conclusion. However, everyone also agreed that if anything happened, they must contact each other immediately to prevent the zombie incident from happening again.

After the meeting ended, Franklin didn't have everyone return to the meeting room, but instead directly let everyone go home, saving some trouble.

"Whew! Finally over," Johnny stretched. Although he hadn't done anything, he still felt tired.

"Sitting for so long must have been tiring for you," the Thing teased.

"Yeah," Johnny wasn't angry and playfully patted his butt.

"My butt is sore from sitting."

"You two," Susan shook her head, but couldn't help but smile.

"You should still be more mature in front of the children."

"It doesn't matter, anyway, Little Franklin and Little Valeria know what kind of person I am," Johnny waved his hand, saying indifferently.

Franklin and Valeria shook their heads at the same time. Having such an elder was really... fortunate. Yes, having an elder who can joke around is quite a happy thing.

"I need to get a good night's sleep," Reed twisted his body into a pretzel, presumably stretching.

"Normally speaking, we haven't touched a pillow in several years."

"Wait a moment, Mr. Reed, I have something to say to you," Yang Le called out to Reed, who was preparing to go back to his room for a good sleep.

"What is it, Yang Le?" Reed asked. Everyone also turned their attention to Yang Le, after all, he said "you" (plural).

"I want to say goodbye. I still have a place to return to. I have stayed in this universe long enough," Yang Le said.

"Of course, that's fine," Reed nodded. After all, Yang Le had no reason to stay. The following matters regarding parallel universes and the Cerebrode were also unrelated to Yang Le, so they naturally wouldn't stop him from leaving.

"Do you have to leave right now?" Susan stepped forward.

"Can't you wait until tomorrow morning? We haven't properly entertained you yet."

"No need to trouble yourselves," Yang Le waved his hand in refusal.

"There is still someone waiting for me to return. If possible, I would still like to leave sooner."

Thinking of Miss Spider-Gwen, Yang Le's mouth couldn't help but curve upwards, harder to suppress than a gun.

"Oh really?" As someone who had been there, Susan immediately understood his meaning when she saw Yang Le's expression.

"Then we are being impolite. When you come next time, we will definitely entertain you properly."

"I will look forward to it," Yang Le smiled and nodded. In the next second, Yang Le's expression changed, as if there was something embarrassing to say.

"What's wrong?" Susan asked.

"I have an impolite request, Madam," Yang Le scratched his head.

"I would like to take Franklin and Valeria with me to leave. We have discussed it before."

Susan turned her head to look at the two children. Seeing them nod, she knew Yang Le wasn't lying.

Reed looked at Susan without speaking. In fact, he wanted to agree to Yang Le, but this matter was not something he could decide alone. Even if the children agreed, he still had to listen to their mother's opinion.

After all, even if they are geniuses, they are still minors.

"Emmm," Susan hummed softly, as if hesitating whether to agree to Yang Le.

"Agree to Yang Le, Mom," Valeria walked over, shaking Susan's arm and acting coquettishly.

"We have all agreed."

"Reed?" Susan looked at her husband, her eyes flickering slightly.

After all, as an old married couple who had been together for many years, Reed immediately understood her meaning and jumped out to play the white face.

"I think we can agree. It's time for the children to go out and broaden their horizons. Staying by our side all the time, they can't get that sense of freedom. Moreover, Little Franklin and Little Valeria's abilities are also trustworthy."

"And as the old saying goes, don't put all your eggs in one basket. We may be colliding with that Cerebrode and Universe 1610 next. That madman is after all me, and he is very likely to have plans targeting Little Franklin. So Little Franklin staying by our side is also unsafe. It's better to let him go out and venture, because as long as Little Franklin is still around, we all have hope."

Looking at her husband who was talking non-stop, Susan was dumbfounded. She hadn't actually thought that much. Originally, she also agreed to Yang Le taking the twins away, just habitually letting Reed play the white face and her play the red face, to warn the twins a little. Who would have thought Reed could say so much.

"Okay, okay," Susan covered her head, stopping Reed.

"I agree."

"Really!" Valeria hugged Susan.

"You are the best, Mom!"

A trip to a parallel universe, even she would be excited.

"Don't be happy too soon," Susan pushed her daughter away.

"Remember to take care of yourselves, you must…"

Now it was good, Reed stopped, and Susan started talking non-stop again. Now it was the Fantastic Twins' turn to have a headache.

'Yang Le, look over here.'

Yang Le was stunned. It was Franklin calling him telepathically and telling him which direction to look.

Yang Le turned his head and saw Franklin, who had been silent all along, had quietly walked to the corner. Next to him was Yang Le's time-space flywheel.

Franklin: 'While Mom isn't paying attention, let's hurry and leave.'

Yang Le: 'What about Little Valeria?'

Franklin: 'I have a way. In short, you get in the car first.'

Seeing this, Yang Le didn't say much and quietly moved towards the corner without making a sound.

Except for Susan who was lecturing Valeria, everyone else noticed Yang Le and Little Franklin's small movements, but they didn't say anything. As men, sneaking out to play is a required course, and they couldn't help but want to experience it.

And so, under everyone's cover, Yang Le smoothly moved to Franklin's side, got into the flywheel, and when he touched his pocket, he found that the time-space device had disappeared.

'I've already installed it,' Franklin said telepathically.

"You adjust the coordinates first. Tell me when you're done, and then I'll rescue Little Valeria.'

Yang Le nodded and started operating it. He quickly finished and then notified Little Franklin in his mind.

'Done.'

'Start the time travel.'

Yang Le obediently pressed the start button. The flywheel's hatch closed, and time-space began to distort.

Such a big commotion naturally couldn't be hidden from Susan. She turned her head and was about to see what happened, but only saw a gust of wind and some rolled-up debris.

Turning back again, she found that Valeria was gone.

"?"

Not mentioning the puzzled Susan, in the bizarre time-space tunnel, the flywheel was slowly moving forward. Inside the flywheel, Yang Le was sitting in the driver's seat, while the twins were squeezed together in the back seat, laughing heartily.

Another universe is finished, next is the long-awaited Spider-Gwen, and Spider-Man related events, what will it be? (It's hard to guess.)
