Chapter 205 Fraternal Harmony
Jennix's head fell to the Ground. In his last second before Death, the expression on his Face wasn't Fear, nor Anger, but bewilderment.
Jennix didn't understand until his Death why his brother, who was quite amicable with him, would kill him. What madness had possessed him?
But it didn't matter. Once he Revived, he could Question him. No, if he went himself, it would just be another Death. He should Report to Father and let Father punish him.
Unfortunately, he would never have the Opportunity. Daemos, after severing Jennix's Head, didn't pause for a moment. He strode towards the most important place for their Family – the Resurrection Pod.
By the time Daemos arrived at the Resurrection Pod, Jennix's Physical Body had already developed to the size of a youth. Daemos' expression didn't change in the slightest. He brandished the Chainsword in his Hand and smashed all the Resurrection Pods to pieces.
Jennix, whose Flesh had not yet fully developed, fell into the Nutrient Fluid filled with Garbage like a fish out of water. At this moment, Jennix understood. Daemos had truly gone mad.
"Sister died at your Hand?" Jennix struggled to raise his Head, Questioning Daemos.
"Her? She was fortunate indeed." Daemos grabbed his younger brother from the Ground.
"She died at the Hand of my Master, the great Supreme."
Daemos still didn't know the Name of Yang Le's Dimension Demon God Identity because Yang Le hadn't told him, and he hadn't dared to ask. Even if he did know, Daemos wouldn't dare to call Yang Le by Name directly.
Who would have thought that this Dimension Demon God didn't even have a Name yet?
"Master? Supreme?" Before Jennix could understand, Daemos had already raised the Chainsword in his Hand, preparing to have a heart-to-heart talk with his younger brother.
"Wait!" Jennix quickly begged for mercy. The Resurrection Pods had already been destroyed by Daemos. Dying this time would be true Death. How could he not be afraid?
"I surrender! I can also dedicate myself to Master's command!"
At this moment, Jennix could be said to be utterly pathetic, lacking any semblance of the demeanor of an Inheritor's Family scholar.
"I possess vast knowledge, I am intelligent, I will definitely be useful!"
Jennix struggled desperately, hoping to beg for a glimmer of life. And Daemos actually stopped, as if he had really been persuaded by Jennix.
"Huff~, huff~." Jennix gasped for breath, looking at Daemos who had suddenly stopped all actions. He even thought he might survive.
"That one has not Responded to you!"
Suddenly, Daemos' Face turned fierce, and he finally plunged the roaring Chainsword in his Hand into Jennix's Chest. Flesh and Blood flew everywhere, and Jennix died amidst screams.
Daemos casually flung aside the original Jennix, now Sludge, onto the Wall beside him. Daemos ignored it and turned to find other Inheritors.
But unfortunately, along the way, Daemos hadn't seen any other Inheritors besides servants.
Daemos was covered in Blood, looking more ferocious than ever before. Even the servants accustomed to Working in the Inheritors Family didn't dare approach him and all hid away.
Although they didn't know what had happened to the eldest son of the Family, it was clearly not a good thing. It was best not to get involved. This was the Idea of all the servants.
As for Daemos, although he had returned to Murder, he had no interest in these ordinary people before him.
This was the first time Daemos was Handling Business for Yang Le, so naturally he had to do his best. According to his observation, Yang Le was picky, at least when it came to Souls.
The reason Daemos thought this was because Yang Le had only taken Reina's Soul. Yang Le hadn't even glanced at the other Villains Daemos had killed. Daemos had thus labeled Yang Le as picky.
For this reason, Daemos naturally wouldn't kill these servants. If he let Yang Le think he was wasting Time and just going through the motions, it would be terrible.
Moreover, Daemos didn't want to waste a single bit of Strength because there was still a Big Fish waiting for him.
Daemos strode to a Doorway. His Father Solus would usually be here when it wasn't meal Time.
If it were before, Daemos would have obediently knocked on the Door and waited at the Doorway until Solus agreed. But now, he wouldn't.
"Creak!"
Roughly pushing open the Door, Daemos saw his Father, Solus, with his imposing and stern appearance, as soon as he walked in.
Solus was sitting on a comfortable Red Velvet Chair, hiding his expression in the Shadow. Directly above him, a peculiar Creature with the lower half of a Spider made of precision Machine and the upper half of a naked human body was hanging on a huge Spider Web.
That was the God of the Spider-Men, the Master of the Spider Totem, the source of all Spider-Men's Power – the Master Weaver.
A hundred years ago, the Inheritors Family mobilized all its Manpower and still captured him with significant losses. His mother had also died in that Action.
But who cared? Oh, right, Karn, that silly boy, cared.
As if thinking of some joke, under the gaze of Solus and the Master Weaver, Daemos suddenly laughed.
"What are you laughing at?" Solus was now completely bewildered. Thinking about it, it made sense. His usually obedient eldest son suddenly rudely pushed open his Door one day, wearing Clothes different from usual, and then came in giggling foolishly. Anyone would be taken aback.
"I saw something funny, Father." Daemos said with a grin, walking into the Room.
The Door, unsupported, slowly closed behind him.
"Oh? What's so funny?" Solus wasn't stupid. He had already seen that there was a Problem with Daemos. He just didn't know what gave this silly boy the courage to defy him.
"There's an old Dog barking in front of me. Isn't that laughable?" Daemos said as he walked to Solus's side. After speaking, he laughed loudly as if no one else was around.
Solus was taken aback at first, then instead of being angry, he laughed, laughing loudly as well.
The Father and son laughed louder and louder, presenting a picture of Fatherly love and filial piety.
As for the Master Weaver hanging on the Spider Web, he shrank back into the Corner, away from this pair of crazy Father and son.
The heavy Gate finally closed at this moment, isolating the terrifying laughter of this Father and son.
"Boom!"
Suddenly, not just the Gate, but the entire Wall exploded. Daemos, holding the Chainsword, retreated from the Room, watching the billowing smoke in front of him with vigilance.
"You ignorant and arrogant fool!"
Solus waved away the smoke and walked out of the Room that was about to collapse.
"I don't know where you got this new Power from, but if you think you can kill me with it, you are still too naive!"
