Chapter 213 - Chapter 213: Arrested

Chapter 213: Arrested

Separated head and Hellfire is even more troublesome than before. The Head can fly, and it's quite fast, constantly using ranged Attack Ability to harass. The Physical Body, in coordination with the Head, launches Attacks. Being of one Consciousness, their level of tacit understanding is naturally beyond words.

In any case, Tony and Thor are being suppressed and beaten, making them miserable.

And Daimons, the originator of all this, had already quietly left. There was no way around it; having lost most of his Celestial Energy, he no longer had combat Ability. Staying on the Battlefield was too dangerous.

Daimons planned to find a place to first wait for his Celestial Energy to Reply. Although he wasn't injured, the depletion of Celestial Energy was more serious than any Injury.

Once his Energy Replied, he would find his Younger brother Karn to settle things. In his view, killing Karn would not only please Yang Le but also be a way to break away from his past self.

He was now in a life-and-death feud with Karn. Even if he didn't look for Karn, Karn would find an opportunity to kill him.

Meanwhile, Karn, the Younger brother that Daimons was so focused on, was currently leaning on his Steel Fork, staggering through the Alley. To escape, he deliberately took a few Gun shots. Originally, these Gun shots were nothing, but one Bullet hit his Old Wound squarely.

That Old Wound was from when he hunted a God with Spider Totem Power in the previous World. It must be said that although these Gods are arrogant, the deliciousness of their Energy is top-notch. Of course, their Strength is also top-notch, and even Karn couldn't avoid being hit.

When a person is unlucky, even drinking cold water can choke them. That Bullet just happened to shoot into the Wound made by the God's Spider Leg, which was on his Heavy Hitter. This caused his Wound to burst open, Fresh Blood gushing out continuously, and even Action became a problem.

Helpless, Karn could only tear a Rags from his Overcoat, tie it around the Wound, make a crude Bandage, and barely stop the Fresh Blood.

Having not eaten for a long time, Karn could no longer waste unnecessary Energy. He stopped channeling Energy into the Steel Fork, using it as an ordinary Cane.

Karn knew his appearance was peculiar. Even in his Home World, wearing a Metal Helmet on his Head was an eye-catching behavior. Coupled with offending the local Hero Influence, he naturally didn't choose the main road but took inconspicuous side paths.

In addition, SHIELD had evacuated the nearby crowds. The side paths, which were already deserted, were now devoid of even junkies, which benefited Karn.

Karn had just tried to open a Portal to escape this Universe, but when he pulled out the Teleporter from his pocket, he found a golden Bullet embedded in it, clearly making it unusable.

Karn was consumed by Rage, raising the Teleporter high to smash it on the Ground. After thinking it over, he still put it back in his pocket.

"Finding someone to fix it should still make it usable," Karn muttered to himself, leaning on his Steel Fork, preparing to first find a safe place to settle down. It seemed he would have to stay in this Universe for a while longer.

Just a few steps out, Karn leaned weakly against the Wall beside him. Having not eaten for a long time and losing too much Blood, Karn managing to escape was already quite impressive. Had it been an ordinary Creature, it would probably have fainted long ago.

But even Karn could no longer hold on. The main reason was the prolonged lack of Energy, which greatly reduced his Body functions. If it were before, he would have Replied from this Injury long ago, definitely not letting the Injury snowball.

"Clang!"

Karn collapsed weakly on the Ground, the Steel Fork falling to the side. His Head, wearing the Metal Helmet, hit the Ground, making a sound.

'It's over, I'm not going to die from Blood loss, am I?' Karn thought pessimistically, never expecting that he, who had fought for centuries, would die in such a way. It was indeed fitting for his Identity as a butcher.

Sighing, Karn closed his eyes in resignation, preparing to resign himself to fate.

Just before Karn was about to lose Consciousness, he vaguely seemed to see a red and blue Figure. Before he could see clearly, he passed out.

When Karn woke up again, he was no longer in that dark Alley, but in a small Room.

Karn wanted to get up but found he couldn't move. It turned out he was tied to a bed, wearing a Restraint Suit, and bound by several Metal Strips of unknown material. Not to mention moving, even his Head was fixed, unable to turn. However, his Helmet was still on, not taken off.

"You're awake?"

An unfamiliar Sound. Karn didn't recognize the owner of this Sound, but it seemed it should be him who had imprisoned him.

"Awake," Karn replied. "Who are you? And where am I?"

Nick Fury stood in the Monitoring Room and said through the Broadcast, "Shouldn't I be asking you, who are you? And what is your Purpose?"

Beside Fury stood Iron Man Tony, Thor, Captain America Steve, and Doctor Strange Strange.

"It seems we both have Problems," Karn said, then immediately made a Suggestion.

"How about we exchange Intelligence?"

He can communicate. This was Karn's first impression of Fury. If that was the case, then Fury could Undoubtedly save a lot of Business.

Fury said, "You can ask questions, and I will answer based on the situation."

"Alright, well, I'm in your hands." Karn agreed. There was no choice; when you're under someone else's roof, you have to bow your head.

"Now answer my question, who are you, and what is your Purpose?" Fury repeated again.

"My Name is Karn," Karn said slowly.

"I come from the Other Universe. I am a member of the Inheritors. My Purpose here is to hunt Spider-Man."

If it was really as Daimons said, then the Inheritors were finished. Karn naturally wouldn't keep Secrets for the family anymore, after all, he never felt much belonging to that Home.

Other Universe? Fury and the other Avengers members' expressions changed. Fury suppressed unnecessary emotions and continued to ask, "Why hunt Spider-Man?"

"Because of Hunger." Karn's answer puzzled everyone. Before Fury could ask again, Karn spoke first.

"You've asked so much; now it's my turn. Who are you?"

"SHIELD," Fury replied. In this Universe, SHIELD was quite well-known. In his opinion, saying it was nothing much.

"SHIELD? I see. No wonder then." After hearing this, Karn slumped onto the bed.

This one Name was enough. There was no need to ask more. After all, Karn had traveled through who knows how many Universes, and he had naturally seen many SHIELDs.

Karn's attitude aroused Fury's curiosity. He asked, "It seems you know us very well."

"Of course. I've even destroyed you before, in Other Universes, of course," Karn replied.

"Keep asking. I can tell you everything I know, but I have a Condition."

"What Condition?" An unusual glint flashed in Fury's remaining Eye.

"Spare my Life," Karn said slowly.
