The knight's smile froze. "What's wrong? Why do you look nervous?" he asked with a nervous tone in his words; he could feel that something was seriously wrong by the recruits' reactions.
The atmosphere grew dense, as if the air had thickened. With each passing second of their delay in responding, Argus grew more impatient, making the atmosphere colder with every moment.
William stepped forward and took Dixon by the shoulder, placing him behind himself. His gaze locked fearlessly with the knight's eyes.
"I assume you're Argus Rednaviz, correct?" he said calmly. "Your brother spoke a lot about you; he always said he had a brother who would save him from any trouble."
Argus raised an eyebrow, curious yet tense.
"Yes... We were quite close." His expression changed, his voice dropping a tone. "I suppose you know where he is. Right?"
His aura exploded like an invisible pressure wave, engulfing the entire hall with the presence of a true Level 3 Knight.
