Mrs MacKenzie had been sleeping as the quietness got disturbed by a ringing cell phone. She woke up complaining and answered it. It was from work "Good morning Mrs Mackenzie, we were asking if you will be able to come to work for the press meeting this afternoon", asked the secretary from her work. Mrs Mackenzie started coughing and spoke in a sleepless voice "Umm I won't be able to make it, I'm not feeling fine today, since yesterday, please schedule all my meetings for today and ask Mr Thompson to stand in my place. I will come back to work as soon as I'm feeling fine", she said, coughing so hard and loud that her husband woke up. "Okay Mam but there's something else a woman yesterday came looking for you, she said it was urgent. We gave her your address if that's okay with you", said the Secretary reporting to her. She looked at her husband "Umm what did she say was her name?"asked her, coughing. "She didn't leave her name mam, she said you would know who she was, you were expecting her", replied the secretary. "Okay then, thank you, let me not keep you and don't forget to tell Mr Thompson, bye", she said ending the call, thinking about the women who came looking for her. "And then, you first woke up and coughed, now you worry , what is it?", he said sitting straight in bed. "Umm I received a call from work asking me if I will be present for the press conference but that is not what is worrying me. The secretary told me a woman came looking for me. She didn't leave her name. Told them I was expecting her yesterday, they gave her my address but I wasn't expecting anyone. I have no friends so who might she be", she explained, holding her phone in her hands. "Ahh, don't worry if the person was looking for you seriously she would have gone home and someone would have told us, okay, now go back to sleep. We have a long journey in a few hours", said Mr Mackenzie, getting back to sleep. "Mxm , I'm already awake, hey, which number called yesterday? I just want to check on my child, see what time she will come back in", she asked, shaking her husband to wake up. He woke up complaining as if he was in deep sleep "Eish check in your call logs for numbers with no name in them. She probably called around 12:00 and stopped waking me up. Some of us have to sleep", he said, reaching for the blankets and covering his face. "Wow, you're so dramatically ashamed as if you're still sleepy", said Mrs Mackenzie unlocking her phone. She goes to her call logs and scrolls down for the number that called. She finds it at the same time. She looked at it, it seemed familiar. She scrolls for another one, the wasn't. she recalls the one they were familiar with. She wakes him up. He ignores her. She says "It's serious, who spoke when you answered the call? ", she asked him to pull off the blanket. He opened his eyes, turned and looked at her "The twins mother plus I didn't answer the call, Scott did, why?", he replied sitting up straight. "Umm this number belongs to ILiara. I know it and still remember it. she always calls with it. It's hers", she said, breathing fast. "Let me look at them", he said, taking the phone from her hands, she let go. He looked at them, they were the same as ILiara's. He called, and she answered "Hello, how can I help ". He immediately ended the call. He got out of bed and went to wake the others. Mrs Mackenzie sat in bed thinking about her child, how was she going to save her, does she know hers or not "She probably knows the truth, why would she have my child?", she got out of bed and went to the sitting room. Mr Mackenzie got into the others room, he pulled their blankets off and told them to go to the sitting room. And walked out to his wife but he found her in the sitting room. They all woke up complaining, Mrs Barker complained "He doesn't have respect, how do you pull blankets of your elders like that, what if I was naked, nxx, what is now?", she asked waking up and wearing a towel. Mr Goldberg just nodded his head and wore his gown. They walked to the sitting room. Mr Dedekind shouted after him "Damn man, can't we be sleeping, it's half past six, no man, no", he said, waking up and wearing his shoes and heards downstairs to tell him off. Mrs Dedekind followed behind, also complaining and yawning. They met up with others in the hall and came complaining especially Mrs Barker and Mr Dedekind m. They found them waiting for them, their faces down and so worried. Mrs Mackenzie shaking in fear. They all saw something was wrong and sat down while Mr Dedekind remained standing. Mrs Dedekind went to Mrs Mackenzie , and learned over her shoulders "So what is it?", asked Mrs Barker with a sad tone. "The twins' mother is actually that witch herself, ILiara. She took our kids. She's the one who called last night", said Mr Mackenzie taking a long deep breath and sits down. Mr Goldberg just fainted as soon as he heard that the witch was the mother of the twins whereas Mrs Barker high blood pressure raised. Mr Dedekind lost his strength and became speechless and faced down, he even sat on the couch. Mrs Dedekind became sweaty and held tight to Mrs Mackenzie. Mr Mackenzie was the only one in a normal state here, he fetched water from the kitchen, two glasses, he gave them to Mrs Barker who was shaking. He went to her room and took her pills, hers and Mr Goldberg's. He gave her a drink whereas he woke Mr Goldberg. And he woke up breathing fast and touched his chest. Mr Mackenzie helped him to drink his pills and drank the water. He then went to look for his laptop in the car and took it with him. He waited for Mr Goldberg and Mrs Barker to be fine, then he spoke "Guys our kids are at the hands of that witch. Being sick and worried, sitting and regretting, feeling sad and crying whereas sitting and doing nothing won't help. We need to act and fast, think of a plan and go get them. No one knows why she has them so Scott traced where the witch was staying, where'd you go and get dressed", he said, clapping his hands at them. Mr Goldberg spoke "As for my granddaughter, I may know she wants the necklace. It has the Phoenix power so it might help her open the gate to realize the Phoenixes and get their powers back", he said, nodding his head. "And what about Alice? what does she have that she wants?", asked Mrs Mackenzie with a worry in his face. Mrs Barker speaks out loudly without noticing "To kill them, what else? That's what she does. she kills young kids for that operation of hers, I wonder where's Matilda?", she replied, drinking more water from the glass. "I don't think she wants to kill them (she comforts them) she won't know very well she will need them. She wants to use them as traps so that we can come fighting her, whereas for me she's found out the truth, she is using my child to get to me, we have to go prepared", said Mrs Mackenzie. "Guys get moving, are gonna go like that if no move those couches are forever there, instead of coming with a plan, you are busy thinking and talking about the worst. You heard Mr Goldberg say she wants the necklace from Elaine and that means she will find the book, get moving", he said shouting, noticing they didn't hear her the first time. They all got up except for Mr Dedekind, he was still searching for her location. Mr Dedekind followed them. They all changed their faces and they came back to the sitting room. "I found it '', said Mr Dedekind to them and he places the laptop on the table and goes to change. He comes back after a few minutes. Mr Mackenzie says "I can see none of us has a plan, we go in there and fight , we use what we have. We know all our powers are with the Phoenixes so we grab what we have now. we just go and fight, whenever ( he doesn't finish )", Mr Dedekind stops him "Old man where are the weapons?", he asked. Mr Goldberg told them to follow him. They all followed, he opened the cardboards from behind him, there were guns under the table, the guns underbeds, in the roof there were guns and bombs, in the basement still there were guns, under the floor there were more guns and there were different safes in the house still with guns. They took them all. Mr Goldberg took his sword, Mrs Barker had her magic wand with her and there were other weapons in the car.. They rode and off they went to the witch's house. Mrs Heinz was awakened by the call and it kind of made her angry cause when she answered no one spoke they dropped the call. She worked up, bathed, called for the maids to pack her clothes and everything hers. She organized transports and airplanes to get them. She then went to the twins, she found them awake, she told them to bath they were going to see their father. The twins got excited, bathed and got dressed and packed their clothes but needed answers from their mother where their friends were. Everything was happening so fast, the transport and airplanes came. All the operations were carried inside, all the creatures inside and the bodyguards as well as the maids. The twins were escorted out of their rooms fast to the planes and Mrs Mackenzie rode with them. Margaret was left behind, the witch had said so. She told her she had no superpowers and no one would protect her. They rode the plans and off they went away. They carried the body of the person to the planes but something fell from it as he carried it inside the plane. The planes took off and left the country. The house was left alone with Margaret who was also packing her clothes to leave. "I think this is the street, the house color is purple and black", said Mr Dedekind giving directions. Mr Mackenzie entered the street and there a purple house appeared as they entered from the corner. He stopped at the opposite house of ILiara's. "It seems like no one is expecting us, there are no bodyguards outside and the cameras are off. The coast is clear we can enter", said Mr Dedekind looking from the microscope. Everyone took guns, Mrs Dedekind took her water swords, Mr Goldberg held his Phoenix swords where Mrs Barker held her wand. They walked inside, two were facing back, one facing right and the other one faced left whereas two faced front carrying guns. They walked in a straight line. Mrs Barker spoke "The witch would have long caught us by now. She would have attacked us by now, do you think this is the right address?", she asked, they all ignored her. "It seems like there was a war in here, look at that cage. Someone was trapped in there and they managed to run away. The tables are down, look at the walls, what are those stains? it even has holes. The ground is messed up, these holes seem like thorns were being ruptured from it. I wonder where the kids are?", said Mrs Dedekind, almost getting stuck into a hole. Mrs Mackenzie holds her. Mr Mackenzie walked by the door, opened it, someone screamed. It was the maid, Margaret. The gun pointed towards her. She was preparing to leave. Mr Mackenzie pushes her aside and goes check the other rooms in the house. The others remained outside checking for them. The maid quickly ran outside to escape but Mr Mackenzie held her from her shirt and pointed the gun at her to return back. The maid stopped and turned back at him shaking with fear. "There's no one in the house except for this woman, I think they left the house empty, just a few clothes in wardrobes", shouted Mr Mackenzie to the others. "Yeah there's no one even here on the outside. Me and Mr Goldberg went in the backyard also there's no one", called out Mr Dedekind sitting down in a chair nearby. Mr Mackenzie orders the maid to sit down and the others walk closer to them, he asks her questions. The maid, Margaret and the other maid had long worked here ever since the twins were toddlers so she may know all the information they were looking for. "What are you here for? "What are you doing here?" asked Mr Mackenzie. "I'm a worker here or at least I..I was, I...I was a maid here", answered the maid, scared. "You used to work here, did you get fired and where's your boss?", asked Mrs Mackenzie looking at her in the eye. "I lost my job today, the boss and her kids, the twins moved away to her husband in another country", answered the maid, still shaking. "Did they perhaps say where they were moving to and how long they would be gone for?", asked Mrs Mackenzie again. "No they didn't but it seems like they won't, they took everything theirs' ', replied the maid holding tight to her bag. "Damn, how many kids were with your boss when she left?"asked Mr Goldberg, lowering the others' guns seeing the maid was scared. The maid finally relaxed and answered them "There were just two kids there, the twins only, her kids", she said sitting comfortably in the chair. She seemed to be short wired in the head, she was a little bit of a mad one. "You mean there were no other kids, one of them was a little bit short with long black hair, small eyes and white skinned like mine?" (Mrs Mackenzie interrupted ) "Or a young girl with long black hair curled like mine, tall in height and she looks like me even her skin color?" (Mrs Dedekind also asked) "Or a young girl aged 18, her skin color white, long golden brown hair, also tall in height and slender, you mean you didn't see them?".They all asked, losing hope thinking the witch had killed them. "Ohh you mean the twins' friends. I did see those kids and they said they ran away. I heard from those ugly creatures. What the witches lost to them? they fought with Madam, they defeated her. I was there hiding when they were fighting. One named Elaine who was wearing the necklace Madam wanted used some magic and trapped her in a cage and the other one her name was Alice that one was playing water breaking the ground drowned Madam, you should have seen those whereas Suzette that one had my sister name (Mr Mackenzie loses patience), that one sort of controlled Madam mind, She was looking at her like this (she copies her) and that how they ran away. You should have seen the battle. It was tense here (Mr Mackenzie stopped her and spoke) "So where are those kids now? where did they go?", asked Mr Mackenzie looking at the others. Mr Goldberg couldn't believe the Phoenix power had grown through Elaine's body and now she could fight and even trapped ILiara in a cage. He wondered how powerful ILiara was powerful. He needed to find her before the witch found her. It was true that the witch wanted the necklace. He really needed to find her before things got out of hand and Elaine was still new to this power thing. Mr and Mrs Dedekind looked at one another, they didn't think Alice powers would mature so soon. They thought she was still too young. They also had to find her. This power was too much for her. She needed guidance, her mother thought and she had to find her before the witch got to her for revenge and kill her. But they were still surprised she managed to fight the witch. Mr and Mrs Mackenzie couldn't believe it, Suzette controlled the witches mind. It was impossible who taught her that power was from her fathers side, they looked at one another. Mr Mackenzie thought he should find her. The witch may have corrupted her mind while she was controlling her, he thought. Her mother was scared perhaps she also had her powers and she would not be able to control them but luckily the witch didn't know the truth about her nor that she was her daughter but she had to find her before she found out. They all looked at maid, Margaret and Mrs Barker asked "Where are they now, did you perhaps hear where they went?", she asked. The maid, as I've already told you, was a little bit mad and also a drunkard. She wanted alcohol from them first before she could talk. Luckily there were bottles in the car. Mr Dedekind fetched them and gave them to her. They all sat down and watched her drink. She drank three glasses and at the fourth it was then she finally spoke. "One those witches, bodyguards, I just didn't see the signs, I dated one of them (they all looked away) and I only saw that yesterday that he was no human, no bodyguard but a witch when Madam turned them to witches (Mrs Barker coughs) they are the ones she sent to find the girls but they didn't find those girls. That bastard I trusted of a servant, both in human and a creature to whatever he truly is. I heard him telling madam that the kids were taken by some light and a strong wind whatsoever.... (she stopped talking, she slept on the table). They all just became bored. "I shouldn't have given her that alcohol, we should have pointed a gun at her", said Mr Dedekind walking up to her and woke her up. She woke up and poured another glass, Mr Dedekind took the other full bottle. "At Least we now know the kids are not in the hands of that witch. We just have to find where they are, perhaps Matildas with them", said Mrs Barker, so irritated by the maid busy singing. "Yeah at least but how long have you worked for this family?", asked Mrs Mackenzie curious. The maid, Margaret answered "For a very long time ever since the kids were young, yeah, they were still toddlers and Mr Heinz was still living here before he left". "So ever since you worked here have you somehow noticed strange things or heard of secret operations done by the maid from that boyfriend or I mean that bastard?". "I did, a lot has happened in this house, people, I mean young kids were killed here before Mr Heinz traveled and left to start the operation somewhere else. There was also a basement, I once entered it. Mr Heinz had forgotten to close it one day, that one crazy man. He can be a fool sometimes. I entered and found little creatures, scary ones. The ones from out of space. We usually see them on television, not in real life. They were dwarfs, some were elves making weapons, bombs, bullets, guns, umm magical pourshins and there was also a magical mirror but I was caught and kicked out. I didn't see that bastard of a spy but these people did dangerous, cruel things. Perhaps it is because they were not humans like for example they fed kids tree leaves but what I mean (she raises her hand and laughs) this one was bad to do, they (she sleeps again)". "Not again, I can't keep waking her", said Mr Dedekind, waking her again. Mrs Mackenzie asks "What did they do? continue there are plenty of bottles in the car if you continue you might get them and some cash", she said lying. The maid woke up immediately and continued "This time, Jake told me they were going to do some kind of a job, he was a human that time. They took spades and shovels but I heard Madam with her husband Mr Heinz speaking earlier that day that they found that tombstone although they didn't say who it was (they all look at one another, the maid continued) I was suspicious I wanted to see what they were going to do with the spades and the shovels perhaps they were going to dig out that person thompstone. I didn't sleep that night. The job was at night time. They left at night but what I didn't know was that the job was far away. Madam and Mr Heinz also left. I was left with the kids. I watched them leave, carrying guns, magic pourshins, those shovels and spades. They indeed went away the whole week. They came back on a Friday night. I heard them come in. I was a true spy. Spies don't sleep. They got out of the car with the spades and shovels. I was watching them from that hiding place of mine. Madam and his husband were So angry but not just angry as in like you angry, they could kill anyone. They entered through the back door, I followed from that hiding place of mine. The truck drove straight into the backyard. I didn't know that truck perhaps they found it where they were. They first took out some weapons like guns, bombs and other creatures. They all went inside after and I could no longer see what was happening inside. I ran back to the house and entered through the front door secretly. There were others standing from the door of the basement. I surreptitiously went to the other spare room. I could see everything coming in and out. Six men came out from the basement door. Madam and her husband followed the men. They went out for like an hour. They then came back. The six men carried a corpse but it was a different one. This person had horns, two of them, long in his forehead like the ones I saw from madam yesterday, similar to a cow's. He had long nails both in his feet and legs (Mrs Mackenzie was no longer herself as she explained but she tried holding herself and they all looked at one another, everyone knew who this person was) I couldn't see his face but he had short black hair and a little bit curled. I was scared that this person's presence sort of brought a dark cloud and fear. And that man was heavy even though the six men needed an extra hand, two more men came. They took him inside the basement. Madam and her husband followed behind. They all walked inside. I now couldn't see anything. I got out from the spare room and I followed them inside in secret, walking slowly. I sat next to crates and hidden from the opposite hall they were in. They placed the corpse on top of a table. Nor did I see what they were doing because the bodyguards all stood surrounding the corpse. Madam was talking in tongues with his husband and there was some green light coming out from there but it seemed like whatever they were doing didn't work cause madam was very angry. She was shouting, Mr Heinz kept on trying to speak those tongues but it just wasn't working. The bodyguards kept bringing juices in bottles, the blood harvested from those kids, magical sticks for Mr Heinz but it also didn't work. But as the bodyguards were busy moving away I saw madam being sat down. They said she was getting weak as well as her husband. He was also feeling weak. They said something about losing their powers because they took Madam's hand and some black magic came out from her hand. I think that's what it was. I think they were tryna wake that creature or animal whatever he was. They saw they couldn't help him so they placed him in a room on a casket, and closed him with a cloth. But madam with Mr Heinz always tried waking him but they always failed. That is why Mr Heinz left home. He.went to find a cure for him cause he never came back home. Madam and him usually call each other or they would go and visit him with the kids. Whuu! I've said enough I'm tired of talking, I'm feeling a little thirsty can I have those beers?", explained Margaret the maid sleeping on the table. Everyone could see what this meant. Mrs Mackenzie was shaking death itself. She was sweating, breathing too fast just like the other day Astraea spoke about his father but this time it was different. She felt like she was dying alive, her body parts were slowly malfunctioning, her heart playing tricks on her. It kept on stopping and beating, her legs shivering from fear. She felt like dragon Slair was already inside her body cutting her to pieces from the inside whereas Mr and Mrs Dedekind both looked at one another speechless but the case was no one knew what to say. Mr Goldberg felt his body parts shedding and saw raindrops raining to the ground, revenge running from up his toes to his head whereas Mrs Barker thought of Matilda and nothing else and her hands shaking. Mr Mackenzie saw how the others were feeling. It seemed like he was the only one who was listening to the maid attentively to what she was saying. Even though it didn't mean he wasn't triggered by the fact that they found the Dragon Slair body, he heard the maid correctly and spoke "So where is that corpse? did they take it away with them?", he asked the maid. "Yes they took him,why? '', replied the maid looking at them and went back to sleep. "Obviously they took him, why would they leave him here? they couldn't wake him so they left with him to find a way to wake him", spoke Mrs Mackenzie pulling herself up but still in fear. "Didn't you hear her? She said they failed, ILiara is losing her powers as well as the wizard. They won't get them until they find Elaine with that necklace and get to the Phoenix", clarified Mr Mackenzie. Mrs Mackenzie looked at him and spoke "But their operations are there. Those kids with supernatural powers will be able to wake him. I think they now have more than enough and yes what if they find the kids, Elaine with that necklace, haa, what then?"she asked, looking her husband in the eye. Mr Goldberg who became triggered as soon as Mrs Mackenzie mentioned Elaine being found spoken "They find the kids only if we don't find them first and those operations were destroyed by john as he escaped from them with two of their trusted associates Jorge and Jenny and as I've said we should act fast. I will alert Scarlett about this to see if she can do something to stop them if she even finds John''. Mrs Dedekind spoke, interrupting Mrs Mackenzie as she was just about to talk "Guys you if you heard it correctly, ILiara green magic turned black. Don't you think those powers Astraea spoke about are slowly catching up with her? It's just that she's unaware of them. We just have to get to the book first before the kids cause we only have three days before Astraea and Borra get back to life again. There's 6 of us, others look for the kids and others the book, simply instead of chopping off our heads about that girl but now Kate's right, let's find the book whereas we look for the kids", she said. Mr Dedekind who was quiet for a while spoke "But what about the Arolie sisters? They are coming. We haven't warned the other kingdoms about this", he said brushing his head. "One kingdom already knows so we have to warn them tonight. We must hit the clock on our way there in the temple", answered Mr Goldberg. "But how did they find out about Dragon Slair? who spied on us that day", asked Mr Mackenzie. "Neither of us know and shouldn't bother knowing they already found him so let's move on and destroy their plan", replied Mrs Mackenzie. "We still do have the guns and the other weapons but they are just not enough. We have to find other weapons in the house if they left ones", said Mr Mackenzie going inside. Mr Dedekind followed him. "I think it's really time we finished all of this. I'm tired of being scared whether they've found out the truth or not. It's tiring. I can even die from this guilt, it is time", said Mrs Mackenzie. Mrs Dedekind moved to her "Yeah it is time, we can't live in fear every time. We do have to stop them", she replied. They sat together and waited for the guys. Mr Dedekind and Mackenzie entered and searched the whole house. They found nothing, it seemed like they packed everything, they went back outside. Mr Mackenzie kicked something on his way out, he picked it up. It was a Dragon Slair watch. It was no use but he took it and placed it in pocket. "There's nothing inside. We should get going, time waits for no one especially our it's always limited", said Mr Mackenzie. They all stood up ready to leave. Mrs Barker spoke " Mark you also have to tell the other sorcerers we will need an extra hand (with fear) Evelyn would also be at war". She was her old enemy. She killed her in the past, Dragon Slair sister. She was twice as him. No wonder "ILiara gave birth to twins' ', said Barker, also thinking out loud. The maid , Margaret woke up hearing they were leaving, she shouted at them "Hey, where's that alcohol you promised me? bring it together with the money also you have to get home to my place, you can't just run away from me",, she said getting up from the chair and following them to the car. They all gave her one look. They got to the car and got in. They told her also to get in they would drop her from the street nearby the bus station. She got in and talked the whole way. They got to that street and she got off, they gave her enough money to buy food and for the bus to get home. They then drove away waving goodbye, all breathing heavily she was finally gone and Mr Dedekind was to be blamed for giving her a lift. Margaret kept falling and singing in the streets, dancing and laughing to herself. The Arolie sisters together with the army were all flying up and noticed her. They flew down to her. She was busy dancing and singing, and one of Arolie's sisters spoke to her "hey, where's your boss?", she asked. She looked at her and screamed "You ugly creatures are everywhere, you starting to bore me. I had one in my house and now in the streets. I hope they kill you all but how do you know my boss or you are also part of that human group? I will tell you she left. She skipped the country she's never coming back to. Why ask? she owes you or ohh you witches, she has your powers and wants to kill you", said the maid drunkenly. "Nxx, I told her it would be no use, look how drunk she is, she's clueless' ', said one sister. "Not so fast. I think she knows something, you said some humans were looking for ILiara and who wants to finish us? Are they the ones who will kill us? what did they want?", asked another Arolie sister. "They will definitely kill you all, yes they came looking for her. She took their kid or at least they thought so but they left now. Kate and her friends left", she continued to sing, passing the bottle at them. One Arolie sister stabbed her with her nails from her shoulder and she fell down. Her blood turned black and she died from then. "The nerve drunkens have, I always don't get it. He always fights for greater good but now he and that army of his will die once and for all but right now we have a bigger mission. A mission to find ILiara. She said she crossed the country. We have to search every plane, every airport to find her" , she said flying back up. The other two Arolie sisters followed her together with the army, sniffing for ILiara's saint. They flew east. Elaine and the other two girls slowly woke up, opening their eyes, opening them to the unknown place. Eyes staring at them as they lifted their heads, they felt tickles in their feets and got frightened. They were surrounded by kids. Strange kids, they had wings, each different in colors, their ears tapped at the ends and their feets different from theirs. Alice couldn't even notice what they were. She was blinded by fear. She had seen them once, the fairies the other day. They were all sitting quietly looking at the kids, folding both their legs and hands. One child spoke seeing they were afraid "Are you really humans? relax you don't have to be afraid of us, we are just kids. It's just that we've never seen one before. Mom said they used to come a long time ago but they stopped", she said with her cute smile. Elaine slowly replied "Yes, we are", slowly realizing her fear seeing they were just kids. I think the child speaking and smiling to them eased their fear.
The child spoke again "Can we touch your feets?", she asked, smiling at them. "Yes you can '', replied all of them slowly moving their feets to them. The kids went to them, slowly touching their feets one by one. The other who talked to them went to Elaine and slowly touched her face , Elaine smiled. Others followed her, touching Suzette and Alice's faces. Elaine lifted her hands and touched the girl's wings. She was moving them slowly towards, her hand shaking. They frightened them. They were so big, so real, inclined to their skin. "They are so real. I've never seen one before", said Elaine. Alice touched them too "They are fairies I've seen before from those ones who came. I couldn't recognise them at first. The kids laughed seeing the three of them touching their wings, it felt ticklish. The little girl said "Yeah we are fairies. My name is Aurora and these are my friends (she told them their names pointing to each) and yours?", she said brushing Elaine's hair. Elaine replied "I'm Elaine ,and these are my friends, Alice and Suzette", she said, removing her hands from the wings and looking around. They were in a room, sort of like a cage with weapons and staff. She recognized there were some clothes in there. Alice asked "So where are we Aurora?", she asked. "Umm, you are in fairy land. You were sent here by the queen, my mother. She was told by your friend to bring you here. At that time you were in danger and our soldiers discovered you just next to the lake so they took you here. They will probably be back to take you to the castle, we also have to go back before they catch us here", she said standing up. "So how did you get here? did you run away", asked Suzette looking at Aurora in the eye. "Umm, I was there when my mom summoned you here in the wheel of oracles and as soon as I heard the soldiers reporting you were and you were humans. I ran to my friends and told them and came here", replied Aurora. "So we are not in your home. Then where are we?", asked Elaine. "You are at the home of the soldiers. The soldiers got in as they were just about to walk out and spoke "princess why are you here? did run away, you kid (he calls for one soldier) take them home", he said getting inside. Aurora and her friends walked out and went back home with the soldier and two. "Or you awake, get up so we can hear you home. Didn't she bother you? I mean the princess, that one's trouble and talks a lot. she's not even afraid of strangers' ', said the bodyguard giving them water. "No , she did not", answered Elaine laughing as well as the others. They finished drinking water, got up and walked with the soldier outside. There were other soldiers outside so many of them, they were sitting and eating, others were standing in a group chatting. The fort was built just towards the gate. The soldiers were there to protect the kingdom. The soldier spoke "We have to take these kids to the castle whereas others remain here so I will need just three soldiers' ', spoke Sirius. The three got out from the crowd and they walked away with the girls guarding them. The three girls kept looking around. They were in a forest surrounded by trees, magic creatures, elfs, beautiful birds, unicorns, goblins and even unusual animals, some both horses and giraffes, others looking like birds but shaped like owls. It was beautiful though, the flowers were beautiful, all with different colors, red velvet, aloes , roses were all there and some they didn't know and didn't know were in the world. They passed by a river crossing through its bridge. There were fishes, different fishes, small and big, some had rainbows on them, dolphins were also there and by the river there was a bear drinking water. It had white fur so big and fat. The girls stood watching it drink forgetting they had to walk to the castle. One soldier who was walking behind them pulled their hair and told them to move. It was far from where they were going and explained to them "This is the magical forest. It all has these magical creatures in it. It protects the fairy kingdom from any harm together with all these creatures you see, the rainbow fishes all have their special powers but their powers are only visible when there's war or something threatening the fairy kingdom, And as for that bear there it was discovered three days ago. We still don't know where it came from or how it got lost and tryna find its tribe", said the soldier to them. "Wow no wonder the forest is so beautiful, it's magical", said Alice, the others agreeing. "It is not only magical but you can also hear melodies playing from it but you can only hear them better when flying from the sky", explained the soldier. "Sirius, can we fly them up? They want to listen to the melodies", asked one soldier. Sirius looked at them, he is the one who gives orders what to do and what's not. He looked at them and the girls looked at him pityingly. "Okay then", replied him. Three soldiers held the girls from their arms and flew them up whereas Sirius flew alone. "Now listen carefully, you will hear the melodies", said one soldier. They did so and listened, fresh melodies played humongous, some quick, some slow with different tunes so relaxing and so refreshing. You could meditate with them and run wild with your thoughts but as they flew over to where the bear was. It grew quiet but the soldiers didn't mind that and when they passed the bear the melodies played again. It was beautiful from the sky looking down at the forest. You could see everything, not like they were walking from it. All the colors of the flowers, animals especially the rainbow fishes blended so perfectly. Elaine asked "So the music plays from the forest or the animals hum it", she asked looking down at the forest. Sirius answered "The music plays from trees. The trees inside them have music tubes from their trunks. They create it from the colors of the rainbow as you can listen to the seven different melodies playing from the trees and you can see they are different in shapes. For example, the ones that are pine trees play the idingo music and so on. The music can be heard all the way to the village especially at night it plays so loud but when danger is coming its stops. That is what warns us that dangers are coming", replied Sirius flying down. They were already at the top of the castle gate and the others also flew down. As they flew down, there were so many fairies, old and young, busy with their chores, others flying up and down collecting some things, they were just living their normal lives. But the fairies differed, others wings were coloured like the rainbow, other plain white , others gold, brown, all with different colors but all had huge wings especially older ones. They reached the ground and slowly the soldier let go of them. They then walked to the castle door. They entered and walked straight to the throne room. They opened the door and entered. The girls were busy admiring the beauty of the castle, it was well decorated with the flowers and others they've seen from the forest even though the way it was built was magnificent. There were water barriers outside. The queen and king had waited long for them and Aurora sat next to them angrily looking so grumpy as they entered. They had placed her under punishment not to go anywhere but stay in the house. The king spoke "How long have I been waiting for you, what took you so long?" , he asked, looking at them. "Our apologies, your highnesses, we were just showing these kids around that what took us long, your highness' ', replied Sirius, bowing down at the queen and king. Alice stood watching the queen, she knew her. She was the one who swore on oath to protect Matilda, the other day. The queen got up "It's okay, we accept your apology, girls (she calls them by name) Alice, Elaine and you Suzette welcome to the fairy kingdom. I hope you've been treated nicely by our soldiers and sorry about her (she pointed to Aurora). She can get out of hand sometimes (she looked at Aurora and she looked away) so we've prepared food for you it's in the dining room just across the hall but first you have yo shower then we've prepared some clothes for you, hope they fit then after you eat and then you will get to see your friend after", said the queen walking out. She calls for Aurora and she follows her and picks her up. Elaine and the others follow, Suzette looks confused and whispers at them "So where are those rooms? I only heard about dining but the rooms", she asked, walking between the two. "Neither do I know but we will just look for them", replied Elaine looking around. "Umm guys I think I see stairs or we can go back to the king", said Alice looking at the king busy with some drawing. "Lets try the stairs instead", said Elaine walking towards the stairs. The king was tense, strict and scary. He didn't laugh, he shouted when he spoke, his voice commanded when he spoke. He was not fat and not thin. He was about 1, 67 tall and spoke with a loud voice. The girls followed one another up to the stairs. They got to an open room, big with an open space. There were three rooms on the left and four rooms on the right and just behind them was another hall also having stairs. "I think we should try this room first (pointing to it", said Elaine. They went to the left ones. The first one was not a bedroom, the second one locked and the third one was a room but not theirs. "Then to the one on the right", spoke Alice. Same applied; they were not bedrooms. It was a kitchen, in fact two kitchens. The other two weren't so sure they didn't go inside. They again stood lost. "Guys what about that hall?", asked Suzette raising her shoulders. "Let's try it", replied Elaine. They walked to the hall, there were so many rooms "So what now, we open them or what?", asked Suzette holding the handle. "I think we should ", said Elaine and Alice agreeing. Suzette turned the handle and it opened but it turned out she wasn't the only one who was at the door. As she opened the door a fairy stood by the door. They all looked at one another, greeted and apologized and walked away but she stopped them. "Are you girls lost, or you are the ones the queen summoned. Are you looking for something?", she asked. She was thin with a long face, big eyes, she had white wings wearing a maids dress. "Ummm, yeah, we are looking for the rooms we are supposed to bathe in", answered Elaine, turning back. "Ohhh , your rooms are in that hall (she pointed to other stairs, these are rooms for us maids", she said walking out. "Ohh, thank you", said Suzette. They walk to those stairs then to the hall. There was a bedroom opened with clothes on top of them. They entered. The bedroom was big with four beds in it and four bathrooms. They each took off their clothes and went to shower. Everything was prepared for them from bathing towels, soups, water and lotions. They took a long time to finish bathing and got off at the same time. "Yahoo, guys, I couldn't close the tab, my water was cold, I spent a lot tryna close it", said Elaine laughing. "And I bathed with cold water, I just feel so cold", said Suzette running to get dressed. "Atleast , you, I had a shower, I couldn't turn off the hot water so I bathed with one fit in and one out, went in the water and run again up until I finished but I managed to turn them off but I was already in no mood of bathing again", said Alice feeling so hot. They all laughed. Elaine got to her bed. She took the lotion and opened it "They smell good", She said, squeezing it into her hands. But it wouldn't pour, she beats it to her hand, it still doesn't. She gives up and puts it in her bed. it spates out and pours to her face. "Damn and then how is it possible it is not facing down", she said removing the lotion in her face and smearing it to her body. The two laugh at her. "I think you were supposed to squeeze it up", replied Suzette laughing. She was done smearing her body. She was now tryna fit her clothes but they seemed too little for her. They were tight jeans with a long sleeve t-shirt "Guys I think I got to the wrong bed, this clothes don't fit", she said trying to pull the jeans. Alice laughed at her. she was also wearing her clothes, both the same as Elaines and Suzette, hers were bigger than her. "I think they swapped your clothes because mine fits perfectly", said Elaine sitting in the bed and wearing her shoes. The two swapped their clothes. They then fitted and they indeed walked to the wrong beds. They wore their shoes. Tidied up and wrapped their clothes up and headed to the dining room. It was easy to find the dining room, it was downstairs across the hall. Their food was already at the table. They sat down, luckily it was still hot. They opened the dishes. They weren't impressed. It leaves with meat but it was burnt with overcooked mash potatoes, together with a steam bread. So like a rock, even if you tried cutting it with a knife or stabbing it with a fork, it didn't and just before them was the salad. It looked nice and well cooked. They tested it but it was too hot and spicy, too sweet or sour. They sat looking at one another with their plates in front of them, the plates full and untouched. They were hungry but this food was just uneatable. The chef walked by smiling at them and spoke to them "Hi girls , I'm your chef for tonight and I've prepared this food for you. I wanted you to have a nice taste from here and from your human world, so how is it? have you eaten or you still are so it tastes good, right, so delicious?", he said, praising himself. The girls looked at one another down and side to side, no one was willing to disappoint the chef. The maid saw how depressed the girls were. She knew the food was awful and she always threw guest food, even the one the queen and king ate. She even threw it away and gave them other food to eat and he would think they finished it when he saw the plates in the kitchen. She immediately thinks of an excuse "Umm, Jay, I heard that Aurora wanted food. Can you prepare it for her?", she said, chasing him. The girls laughed and waited for their food, playing with their phone but there was no network so they played games. Their food arrived after thirty minutes, they were so hungry and dug in. In just a few minutes they were done. The maid came back and took their plates. "Yahoo, thank you, it was really delicious," said Elaine, relaxing in the chair. The chef, Jay, pipped from the kitchen door and shouted "Told you girls, I'm a great cook, see at dinner time", he said passing and laughing so loud heard from the kitchen. The girls laughed too and walked out before things got out of hand. Just before they were far, they bumped to Aurora. she was surprised "What are you holding? What's that?", she asked. "What is my phone?"asked Elaine. "Yeah, whatever it is. What does it do?", asked Aurora. "It does a lot of things. Takes pictures, plays games and you can call anyone", answered Elaine. She shows her the games and how to take pictures. Aurora takes it and tries taking pictures, they are good, she doesn't stop taking them. Jay came calling for her as soon as he heard her talking, her food was ready. He comes holding her plate. It smelled awful. It was burnt. He had made noodles for her with mince. The noodles were dry and the mince burnt. Aurora just looked at the food and continued taking pictures. She got bored looking at it. Jay, the greatest chef just walked away "I will just close and you will eat later , he said walking back to the kitchen. Aurora speaks after him "You know I even got tired of telling him he couldn't cook cause He just keeps going around like a fool. He is praising himself saying he's the greatest chef and so whatever", she said, pouting her mouth and taking a picture. One maid comes from the stairs and calls them "Girls, you can come now your friends back", said the maid waiting for them in the stairs. "Lets go guys, please don't delete anything from that phone", said Elaine and others hearded upstairs. Aurora ran to her bedroom and played games on the phone. The maid took them to a room up from the stairs in the castle. She opened the door and there was Matilda sitting from a couch. She stood up and ran to them, they all hugged one another. They went and sat over the couches. The maid closed the door and walked out. "So you are awake now, you've slept for the longest time. I was starting to feel worried ", said Alice. "And how did you get here? we were so worried the witches took you", said Elaine hugging her again and others joined in the hug. Matilda breathed a little and said "Umm after the day you left just after a few hours probably five hours from then, it was at night time probably seven. I was still sleeping, deep in sleep and dreaming. I heard a hand shake me. I opened my eyes, it was the fairy queen with her soldiers. She told me I had to leave your place and that a great danger was coming. Astraea was about to be awakened. I know it is different from you humans. It's just a normal year but to us February the 29th to us is a great threat especially those who are innocent like your kind. It is the witches' year where all witches dead and alive will be awakened, even those that died 100 years ago. They will be coming back into fully fleshed witches in extend to February 29 where they will attack, destroy the whole world just to revive their own world, the underworld of witches where there are no humans, supernatural or any other kingdom just them ruling the world. Those who will only survive are only those who side with them so we are up against a big fight. We have to prepare ourselves and I acknowledge you were in a fight with the witch ILiara and managed to get away from her but that doesn't mean you're ready. You have to train to know your true powers and luckily there's someone I know who can help but we will have to walk after dawn", explained Matilda to them.
