"Then, can you bring me back to the tower?" Odette asked bluntly, and the Masked Alpha was taken aback.
"Anywhere but that," the Masked Alpha rejected. "Look, there is so much I can show you in my kingdom. Why would you go back to that boring old tower with Ymir? Do you love him that much?"
"I just want to be somewhere safe, Your Majesty," Odette replied.
"What do you mean? You are safe here with me."
"Am I really?" Odette sneered. "Your Majesty, we're not supposed to be in such a private place alone. You are already a man with a mate. You're supposed to bring Lady Odile here, not me."

The Masked Alpha lost his smile instantly. He didn't know why Odette kept bringing up Odile in the conversation, because it ruined his mood instantly.
