Odette couldn't sleep after her conversation in her dream with Elder Duckling. She thought it was such a long dream considering the length of her conversation with Elder Duckling.
But when she opened her eyes again and checked the clock, she realized that she had only been sleeping for about thirty minutes.
She tossed around left and right, trying to fall asleep again, but in the end, she got up and changed her dress into her regular tunic that she wore when she first came out of the barrier.
"Ah, I just know it feels better wearing this one. I'm not suitable for a palace life. It's tedious and exhausting," Odette muttered as she opened her door and walked through the long corridor towards the garden.
As she went to the center of the garden where the statue of Swan and Wolf was erected, she met with Prince Alexander once more.
He was sitting at the edge of the fountain while staring back at her, as if he had expected her arrival.
"Can't sleep?" he asked.
