"Damn you, Green Emperor! Damn you, mutt! This filthy stench is worse than any poison! You're a walking bio-weapon!"
The ogre immediately bent over in violent retching. Everything in his stomach—red, black, and foul—came spewing out, soaking the ground. The stench grew even worse, and the look on his face said he would rather die on the spot.
That green gas… was simply too horrifying.
It was inhumane torture.
"This is bad! It's so foul… I think my nose is ruined!!"
"Run! This is hell itself! I've lost my appetite for the next month… I'm gonna puke again!"
"Heavens, what is that monster? Never mind the singing—how can it release such a foul stench? It's a nightmare! Did the heavens send it to torment us?"
"Run!!"
The surrounding foreign races were all hit by the gas. No one had expected the Green Emperor to suddenly let out a fart—let alone one of such earth-shattering magnitude. That green gas held a terrifying, ghost-weeping might that could shake even seasoned cultivators.
It spread too fast—so fast that dodging was impossible. Worse, many of the cultivators had already closed in to strike at Yi Tianxing, and they were standing too close together. There was no room to run. In an instant, they were swallowed up.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
One by one, foreign cultivators let out cries of despair. Their eyes went blank, their bodies stiffened, and they collapsed to the ground like felled trees—fainting on the spot, life or death unknown. The power of that gas was far from ordinary.
"Green Emperor, you bastard!!"
Yi Tianxing had originally been prepared to clash head-on with the foreign races. If there was going to be a fight, then let it be a glorious one. But the Green Emperor's sudden intervention—and that fart—produced such a horrific gas that he instantly knew something was wrong.
Without a second thought, he opened a space gate, grabbed the Green Emperor, pulled up Fu Hongxue, and dove inside. The gate sealed behind them, cutting them off from the stench. He hadn't jumped to another location immediately but lingered inside the spatial fold to watch what happened outside.
One look—and Yi Tianxing's face darkened.
If he hadn't instinctively fled into the space gate, he would've been caught by that green gas the next moment. There was no avoiding it. Seeing the state of the other races, he realized just how deadly it was. No one in their right mind would test it firsthand. It would be suicide.
That gas was pure terror.
Fu Hongxue's face turned cold. He looked deeply unsettled.
His gaze toward the Green Emperor was sharp—brimming with killing intent.
That look clearly said: If you come near me again, I will cut you down.
"This dog… must be kept at a distance. I must never get close to it again," Fu Hongxue decided. That decision was to be branded into his soul—never to be forgotten.
"Master, how could you say that?" the Green Emperor cried, full of grievance. "I was fighting for your sake! I just had a stomachache—ate something bad. I had to release some internal filth! I was aiming at the enemy! You should be rewarding me. I, the Green Emperor, am your most loyal battle pet!"
A flicker of cunning flashed in his eyes.
"Hmph!! Just don't ever dare let one loose in front of me again. If you do, I'll make sure you never get the chance to do it again," Yi Tianxing said coldly, glaring at the Green Emperor. Given his notorious character, he wasn't buying a word of it.
There hadn't even been a warning. If that wasn't deliberate sabotage, he'd eat his boots.
"I'm loyal!" the Green Emperor insisted.
"Such a righteous master of Xuanhuang City, letting a dog attack others—releasing such vile gas! I won't let this go!"
A gnoll who had passed out from the gas had just woken. His first instinct was to vomit again—relentlessly. Even as he spewed his guts out, he scrambled away on all fours, desperate to get out of the green cloud.
"So malicious… using such underhanded tactics! Yi Tianxing, are you declaring war on us all?!"
Nearby lionfolk and tigerkin cultivators were also vomiting violently. Their eyes burned with hatred as they looked toward the space gate where Yi Tianxing stood. If looks could kill, Yi would've been dismembered.
They wanted to skin him alive and eat his flesh raw.
"So what if it's war?" Yi Tianxing sneered. "Weren't you planning to attack me anyway? You'd already made your choice. Why should I fear becoming your enemy?"
"You dare risk the extinction of the human race?" a gnoll roared.
"The human race fears no foe. No matter how many come—we'll kill them all. We worship no gods, pray to no Buddhas, seek no immortals, and fear no monsters. If it's a fight you want, bring your lives as tribute."
Yi Tianxing sneered, "I took the treasure. So what? It's mine now. If you want it—come and take it."
With that, he activated the space gate. A flash of light—and they were gone.
"A space gate… spatial teleportation… dimensional leap. What a treasure."
Tong Tiexin opened the third eye on his forehead. As he gazed at the spot where the gate vanished, a spark of fascination appeared in his gaze. Clearly, he was deeply intrigued.
This was no ordinary artifact—it was a spatial supreme treasure.
Even with his power, he couldn't sense where the gate led. Its coordinates, fluctuations—everything had been completely suppressed. There wasn't even a ripple left behind.
This made it impossible to track them through the void.
Such a treasure filled Tong Tiexin with greed. If it were his, he could soar to the heavens.
"Everyone, two of the three treasures were stolen by Yi Tianxing. And he dared to gas us in such a vile manner. The human race should no longer be tolerated. The Zerg threat is gone. Let us, the allied forces, wipe out the humans. At the very least—Yi Tianxing must die!"
The gnoll spoke with venom.
Murderous intent burned in his eyes.
"Agreed. Let's return to Rock City and plan our next move. That man is far too arrogant."
The foreign races exchanged glances and nodded.
The Green Emperor's fart had enraged them beyond reason.
Ice City.
A space gate opened.
Yi Tianxing and Fu Hongxue emerged, followed by the Green Emperor, who was tumbling end over end after being kicked out.
"What a shame… I didn't get to draw my blade," Fu Hongxue said coldly. He had been prepared to fight but the Green Emperor had ruined everything. In that foul cloud, no one could fight. Everyone just fled.
The battle ended in a farce.
"Lord, you've returned so quickly. Did something go wrong?" Jia Xu arrived, concern on his face. Seeing no wounds, he asked calmly.
"There was a change. The Zerg swarm has vanished, and the mysterious Zerg Queen disappeared. However, three treasures emerged from the nest. I secured two. The foreign races got one."
Yi Tianxing nodded.
"Then we're in serious trouble," Jia Xu's expression grew grave.
"With the Zerg gone, there's no longer an external threat to unify us. The foreign races will turn their attention to the humans—especially since you snatched two treasures right before their eyes. That's a public humiliation. They won't tolerate it. A coalition army is likely coming. The humans… are their next target."
He wasn't guessing—he was certain.
The treasure snatch was the fuse. Now, they were a mobile treasure trove, and the wolves would come.
Ice City was no longer safe. It was like being in the middle of a den of beasts.
"Indeed. But I want them to come—and never return," Yi Tianxing said coldly. "We couldn't kill the Zerg. Let's kill the foreign races instead."
"You mean… to confront them directly?" Jia Xu frowned slightly.
Given the space gate's power, they could just retreat to Xuanhuang City and regroup. There, they could stand firm. But Yi Tianxing had something else in mind.
"Not here. We'll return the way we came."
"You want to slaughter our way home." Jia Xu's eyes lit up.
"We came through thorns. We'll return over bones."
Yi Tianxing gazed into the void, killing intent in his eyes.
This time, he would walk with blood as his companion and corpses at his feet. He would carve a path of slaughter, forging the human race's name in blood. No longer would they be prey, no longer would they bow to the strong.
The human race must rise—through blood and battle.
They would never shy from war.
This time, the army of Xuanhuang had set forth to spill blood.
