The excitement in everyone's was undeniable, although the idea being a children's game non of them seemed to disagree with her almost as if all of their inner child woke up that instant.
Tsunamis said ICE WATER huh...! A game where there will be 2 or 4 people as ICE and the remaining as WATER.
The ICE will chase after the WATER and when they touch them they will become ICE and they'll freeze unable to move. Then they will lock the freezed water in a base guarded by one ICE.
It almost sounds like the ICE are undefeateable but they are not if a water manages to touch his allies in the base without letting the guard touch them then they will be set free.
The goal of the game is to either make everyone lock up in base or survive certain time.
Roslin chuckled. "I haven't played this game in ages. I guess it'll make for an exciting moment for us."
There was 11 people in Toping group and 14 in Sam group making 25 people all total.
Sam grinned. "Let's play rock-paper-scissors to choose who'll be ICE and who'll be WATER."
Everyone agreed, and after a few rounds of rock-paper-scissors, Toping, July Boy, Hori and Tsunami were chosen as ICE.
Tsunami stretched, rolling her shoulders. "Catching all 21 of you sounds hard. And with two low-energy people on our side, it'll be even tougher."
She smirked and added a condition. "If, by the time limit, five or fewer of you remain, we win."
The group murmured in agreement—it seemed fair.
Toping then raised the stakes. "And the losing team has to do something embarrassing."
It was now a survival game, and all Sam and the 21 WATERs had to do was survive for 2 Hours.
The time was 3 PM, and they had almost two hours until sunset. All the ICE remained in CAMP2, while Sam and the others walked over a certain distance, creating space between them and the four ICE.
"3...2...1..." The countdown echoed through the air, and the game began.
Tsunami and Toping, full of energy and excitement, immediately sprinted off, capturing Sung, Asing, and two other NPCs almost instantly. 17 people remained.
Meanwhile, July Boy and Hori, being more low-energy, moved slowly, watching over the captured players and guarding the remaining WATERs as best they could. The tension was building, and with every step, the chase grew more intense.
On the other hand Sam was hiding behind their car in CAMP1 watching Tsunami and Toping capturing his allies one after another.
Hiding along side with him were Shon and OH NO. Sam turned to them, his voice serious. "If we want to win this game, we have to help each other, so that they don't get a perfect victory. At least one of us has to survive until sunset, and then we'll win."
He paused and glanced around. "Earlier, while running, I saw them taking our captured allies behind that big boulder near the CAMP2.
Their base is definitely behind that boulder, and judging by how only Toping and Tsunami are running, I believe Hori and July Boy are staying behind as guards."
Shon nodded. "Then we must go and save our allies quickly."
Sam held up a hand, stopping them. "No, we must wait a little longer. It won't be worth sacrificing ourselves trying to save just a few people."
Even if we somehow managed to save those people while they are only few, then the ICE will have only limited people to look and might freeze us again right at their base itself after we save them.
The others frowned, but Sam continued. "Instead, we should wait. Run, survive, and buy as much time as possible. Only when there are fewer than five of us left should we make our move.
That's when we'll sneak back to the CAMP2 from where we came and crawl up from the camp's side to the boulder."
"That way, even if they try to freeze us again, there'll be too many of us at once and most of us will escape."
Shon thought for a moment, then said, "I see. We need a strategy if we want to play this game smartly."
