Once again, after laying his plans Sam wished Liabilities All the best, and they parted ways.
Liabilities was motivated—not by victory, but by the sheer terror of being embarrassed in front of Shon. Meanwhile, Sam was determined to turn the tables and snatch a perfect victory.
Another two players were caught—one from each class. 13 players remaining.
The time was now 3:45 PM—1 hour and 15 minutes until the game ended.
Liabilities changed his approach. Instead of hiding, he actively searched for the ICE. If his job was to be a distraction, he needed to find them first.
After some time searching, he finally spotted Tsunami who was chasing after Oppa.
But this wasn't just a game of tag anymore.
Oppa was on the verge of tears—not because he was scared of getting caught, but because he was actually running for his life.
What exactly happened that made him this terrified…?
Earlier, Oppa had been hiding confidently in a perfect spot alongside Flower and Bori. He was filled with joy because he was with Flower, but also annoyed because Bori was being the third wheel.
Suddenly, Tsunami began approaching their hiding spot, scanning the area suspiciously.
Flower started to panic. "I don't want to get caught by Tsunami this early! I want to survive and at least be in the top five!"
Oppa, seizing the chance to be a hero, puffed out his chest. "Don't worry, Flower! I'll distract her!"
Before anyone could stop him, he dashed out, hoping to lure Tsunami away.
Unfortunately, Tsunami didn't bothered to chase after Oppa. She realised that Bori and flower was hiding there.
Tsunamis thought she can catch Oppa anytime she wants but on the other hand Bori was seemingly athletic and wanted to catch him first before she gets tired later on.
Oppa's plan was failing.
He frantically waved his arms, jumped around, and even screamed, "HEY TSUNAMI, CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!"
Tsunami didn't even glance at him.
Seeing her inching closer to Flower, Oppa panicked.
Then he did something... unspeakable.
In a desperate attempt to stop her, he yanked off one of his socks—the one he hadn't washed in weeks—and hurled it and threw it straight at Tsunami.
Splat.
It landed perfectly. Right on top of her head.
The world froze.
Tsunami slowly reached up, peeled the sock off her head, and stared directly at Oppa.
A death stare.
A "your life ends here" kind of stare.
Oppa's brain shut down.
Then instinct kicked in.
RUN.
And so, he ran. Faster than he had ever run in his entire life.
Liabilities then arrived in the scene and saw Oppa sprinting for his life, Tsunami right behind him. He immediately stepped in, trying to distract her.
Nothing worked.
Tsunami was locked on Oppa like a heat-seeking missile. Oppa suddenly turned toward Liabilities, eyes full of terror. "HELP ME!"
Now, both Oppa and Liabilities were running for their lives.
Liabilities panicked when he realised this wasn't normal. Tsunami wasn't just chasing Oppa for the game. There was something else. Something much, much worse.
For a brief second, Liabilities considered abandoning Oppa.
Letting him die alone.
But then, he thought about Shon.
He didn't wanted to be embarrassed in front of Shon and more importantly, he didn't want Shon to be embarrassed either.
So he stayed.
Then suddenly—he saw her.
Shon.
She was hiding in a safe spot where she can see the boulder and they were running directly toward her.
His heart dropped.
If they kept running, Shon would be caught too.
That couldn't happen. So he made a dire move.
Liabilities grabbed Oppa and stopped running.
Oppa screamed. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!"
Liabilities, also terrified, held him down.
Tsunami caught up.
And the moment she did—
Both of them screamed.
Mission Failed Successfully.
Liabilities couldn't save himself… but he saved Shon.
