Breaking off the kiss, Rey eyes held Mia's eyes pinning her in place.
"I love you Mia." He confessed softly, stroking her flushed cheeks.
"I…" Her eyelids fluttered at him.
"I love you Rey." She said in one breath and Rey could swear that the feeling he had in his chest and head was ethereal, he wasn't sure he had felt this way before.
Still searching for words to say, she stood up, making him stand too as he looked down at her, into her eyes.
"Can I kiss you." She pouted ever so cutely that he felt he could gobble her up and keep her for his eyes alone.
He nodded, his heart thumping with expectation.
Mia could not control the tingling feeling in her stomach as she stood on her toe, hooked her hands around Rey's neck, closed her eyes and brought her lips to his.
It was electrifying when he just waited. He waited for her to take the lead this time and she did, licking on his soft lips before sucking on it, making him groan and take over, nibbling and sucking with arousing groans.
She disengaged this time and created ten inch space between them making him frown at her.
"Babe?" He called and this time she was sure she would faint from the flutters in her stomach and the skipping of her heart beat.
"This doesn't look real. What if it's part of your scheme?" She peered up at him.
He closed the space between them and drew her to his wet body, his hands on her waist.
"I was too stupid to admit my love for you all this time." He started.
Mia craned her neck to look at him, not bothering to interrupt his speech.
"I promise not to be a jerk. I promise to love you more than you can ever imagine. I promise to make up for my foolishness. I promise…" But Mia could no longer hear his words as the rain increased, all she focused on was the sincerity on his face.
Standing on her toes again, she pressed her lips to his, cutting his words short. A blinding flashlight came through but she cared less.

Hand in hand, they stepped into the sitting room to see Celine and her arranged bags beside her legs.
She looked up from her phone to see them, her eyes traveled in-between them stopping at their entangled hands.
"Really?" She raised a brow before snickering and jumping to her feet.
Walking towards them, she waved her phone at their faces so they could see a picture of them kissing being displayed on her screen.
"Was she worth all this?" She directed her pointy stare to Rey who suddenly got ticked off by her question.
"Fuck off." His voice was controlled, his hold on Mia tightening.
Not wanting to get involved in the drama, Mia tugged at Rey's hand and nodding slightly, he sent a chilling glare at Celine, sending her out of the way.
On getting to the stairs, Celine's voice rang after them.
"Your parents know about this messed up contact rubbish you both agreed on!"
Mia paused and made to turn, but Rey tugged her forward gently.
"We'll face it together." His lips tilted up into a little reassuring smile that made her smile back and continue in her steps.

After spending the night in a hot bath together and with a warm cuddle after Rey insisted that their next lovemaking would be after saying 'I do', Mia stepped into the sitting room to see a letter sitting pretty on one of the couches.
"Babe come see this." Mia called and Rey made a face at the urgency in her voice before hurrying down the stairs to meet her.
Without taking the already opened paper from them, Rey drew her closer to himself from behind, his face peeking up from the side of her neck as his breath fanned her neck.
"What is that?" He sounded uninterested.
"It's from Celine." Mia made an attempt to look back at him but he just pecked her cheek and she smiled.
"What is it about?"
"I had never pictured you like this." Her lips spread into a mild laughter.
"Just read it yourself, it's a letter for you." She struggled out of his hold and pushed the letter into his hand.
Rey sighed before reading through.
It was Celine, telling him that her words were just empty threats. She hadn't told his parents about their contract or whatever it was they had going on and she wouldn't.
She writes that she can't really stay back because her parents would force her into throwing herself at him.
Widening his eyes at the last part of her letter and realizing that she did everything she did because of her parents' greed, his surprised eyes caught Mia's understanding eyes.
"I really need to go see Celine." He looked at her as if waiting for her permission.
"You should go." Mia nodded at him and he flew up the stairs to go get dressed up.

At the airport after a few unsuccessful times of getting through to Celine, his phone beeped.
[I can see you, Rey.] It was a message from Celine.
He looked around several times but when he couldn't find her, he started to type but his phone beeps again.
[You should head back. If you get any closer and I get to converse with you, I swear to the heavens Rey, I would stay back and sure your life is a living hell.] She sent again, leaving Rey standing in shock.
He tried calling her line again but it ended before it even rang. It took him three more trials to realize he had been blocked.
Sighing, he looked around the airport one more time before walking out. He had a real proposal to plan after his dad's birthday party, he needed to get Mia to his and only his as soon as possible.
